Question:	what refills does it use
Answer:	Yes it's real Damascus. The lines don't show on the edge when it is sharpened, and they shouldn't or the Damascus is delaminating. The Damascus is acid etched to bring out the pattern. The steel is well done and takes a fine edge. Some knives just are not hard enough to hold a fine edge, but the three that I purchased are made well.

Answer:	The Amazon website does not specify the steel combination on the Model 1, however, several other damascus steel knives from Knife King all use 15N25 & 1075 steels, so I would imagine that is the combination in the Model 1.

Answer:	I haven’t taken it apart but feels like full hidden tang. On another note I absolutely love the knife!
