Answer:	Measuring diagonally on just the grill part it's 11" and yes a 12" pan would work I have a 13" pot that I use to cook crab outside and it works perfect

Answer:	I have used it indoors twice and it works fine... no problems at all. Make sure to be as safe indoors as you are outdoors.
Question:	Will this accept the weight a 20Qt stainless steel pot of water. Any thoughts on using it for a canning bath
Answer:	I would not use anything big enough to cover the butane cover section as if that butane canister being thinner metal gets to hot it becomes a ticking time bomb. If I remember right I'm thinking they don't recommend anything over 10-11" in diameter in pots to keep from reflecting heat back down over butane cover. If using the 1 lb propane bottles probably not an issue. You could also wrap the rubber hose with some reflective aluminum foil that goes into stove.

Answer:	Looking at the previous answers, looks like it used to be made in the usa, but now it looks like it's made in china. In the product details, it says it's made in china as of 5-28-17.

Answer:	No, you cannot use it without the legs. I looked at this too. The propane connection assembly extends lower than the metal shield around the burner. The legs do not have a lot of adjustment, maybe an inch or two. I have the stove packed away with my camping gear and cannot verify the exact amount of adjustment or lowest cooking height.

Too much heat on the thin aluminum canner bottoms is the issue. https://www.healthycanning.com/pressure-canner-heat-source/#heat-source-too-high Most everyone agrees to definitely avoid any “turkey fryer” propane heaters because of the high heat required to boil the oil to fry the turkey would damage many canners. Some people say, however, that there are some safe outdoor heat sources — ones with adjustable temperature controls such as the Camp Chef line.  “Only Camp Chef brand 2 burner stove on low is the only safe one we know of.”  4

Answer:	I came here to look up this answer. I can say that I've had mine since 2015 and have routinely mashed and boiled wort on the burner. Over 7 gallons. Which would be around 56 pounds. I may have even doubled this up once with two batches at the same time.

The product is not machine washable but in order to clean it you can follow the instruction manual that came with the product: Periodic cleaning is recommended to prevent food, oils or other materials from prematurely degrading your WellaX Sleeping Pad. Add as much air to the mattress as possible; close valve(s) with mattress fully inflated. Wash in a tub, using a soft bristle brush and any mild household cleaner or mild detergent. Rinse well. Question:	Does it all nest inside (even the cup) and does it still fit a fuel canister inside with everything
Answer:	Hello, I'd be more than happy to answer your question. In order to DEFLATE the pad : Open the valves, and start rolling the pad from the feet to the head to let air out. After that, close both valves and stretch the pad on the ground. With the valves closed, start rolling the pad again from the feet to the head, and at one point, you will see that the pad still has air in it. Open ONE valve and roll the pad from that point to the head. Once all air is out close the valve and the pad will remain folded and ready for packing. Question:	is this big enough to cook a box mac and cheese? like kraft deluxe
Answer:	Before my trip I tested it out inside my mummy bag. It fit and was comfortable, but on the trip I opted to put it under the bag instead of inside. Then I put both the pad & mummy bag inside a waterproof bag cover, which made a nice, snug cocoon in the cold, damp mountain air. Both ways seem to work fine. Putting it in the mummy bag might make it even warmer.

Question:	Should you use a windscreen with the stove
Answer:	It's always good practice to keep one on you just in case. When it comes to my Esbit I just cut a nice windscreen out of an old disposable pizza pan. The foil is thick and foldable. I don't use it very often since the esbit usually protects the fuel itself. This stove is Brilliant
Question:	How many Fuel Tablets are needed to use this effectively
Answer:	The Esbit Ultralight Folding Pocket Stove does a very good job of holding the Esbit 14 gm Fuel Tablets above the ground, which allows better air circulation around the fuel tablets for better combustion and heat generation, and it does a good job of reflecting the heat up to the bottom of your cooking pot/canteen cup. If your definition of "effectively" is bringing 12-16 ounces of water to a boil in 10 minutes, with little to no wind blowing on your stove, then the Esbit Ultralight Folding Pocket Stove and probably one, or maybe one and one-half Esbit 14 gm Fuel Tablets (they can be easily cut in half or quartered if needed), would effectively bring that amount of water to a boil in 10 minutes. That would give you enough boiling water to prepare a freeze-dried meal pouch for one person. If there is wind blowing on your Esbit Ultralight Folding Pocket Stove, you will likely need two Esbit fuel tablets to boil that volume of water, because the wind will blow some of the heat generated by the fuel tablet(s) away from the bottom of the pot or cup used to hold the water to be boiled. If you need to boil more than 16 ounces of water (to make one or two cups of coffee, hot chocolate or Cup-O-Soup to go with your freeze-dried meal), or to prepare more than one single-serving freeze-dried meal or one multi-serving freeze-dried meal, you will need to use more Esbit 14 gm Fuel Tablets with your Esbit Ultralight Folding Pocket Stove to generate the amount of heat needed to boil that larger amount of water.To calculate the 'maximum' number of Esbit 14 gm Fuel Tablets, along with your Esbit Ultralight Folding Pocket Stove, you will need for a specific camping trip, you can use the following quick and dirty formula: Multiply two Esbit Fuel Tablets, times the number of people for whom you will be cooking, times the number of hot meals, hot beverages, hot cereals or hot soups for which you will need to boil 12-16 ounces of water. This "formula" allows some "fudge-factor" for how much of the heat generated by the Esbit 14 gm Fuel Tablets used with the Esbit Ultralight Folding Pocket Stove the wind can blow away from the bottom of your cooking pot. Using some "natural" fuel for your fire is OK, as long as it hasn't rained recently and soaked your "natural" fuel sources. Also, remember that if you decide to use "natural" fuel to supplement your fuel tablets, a surprisingly high percentage of the heat generated by your fuel tablets will be diverted from heating your water to heating the "natural" fuel to its combustion temperature, where it can begin to contribute its heat to your stove. You might be losing more heat than you gain if you use "natural" fuel, especially if your stove and cooking pot is small. That's why I only use Esbit 14 gm Fuel Tablets in my ultralight 5-piece cooking system, consisting of an Esbit Ultralight Folding Pocket Stove, Esbit 14 gm Fuel Iablets, a Rothco #918 Canteen Cup Stove (sawed completely through the shallowest point on one side to allow it to fit around the outside of an Esbit Folding Pocket Stove and act as a wind screen for my Esbit Ultralight Folding Pocket Stove), a Rothco #512 Stainless Steel Canteen Cup, and a Rothco #11512 Stainless Canteen Cup Lid. Question:	What is the shelf life of the fuel tablets
Answer:	I just opened a new-old-stock stove with an included pack of 20 tablets that's probably 50 years old I found for three dollars cheaper than they are on Amazon right now ($7 as opposed to $10 for Amazons prices) and just to test, made tea with the stove. The 50 year old tablets still lit and burned!

Answer:	No, not even a little bit dishwasher safe. Took the above answer at face value and regret it. Both pots ruined after just one run in the dishwasher on the top rack - it completely stripped off the non-stock finish and I was left with a chalky dull metallic coating that rubs off with your finger (so probably would cook into your food). Completely unusable. Glad this was only 20 bucks. Throwing it in the garbage. Very much wish the company had just clearly printed "not dishwasher safe" on the package.

Answer:	Depends on how cold. Butane doesn't work well below 35-40F. If you need a stove for consistent temps around freezing or below, go with a propane model.

Answer:	Absolutely. Any pot or pan works fine. Actually, a cast iron skillet would work great. The stove can put out quite a bit of heat, I've used these for a stock pot.

Answer:	The butane fuel can only be loaded in its can. Open the fuel canister compartment cover. Remove the cap on the fuel canister. Insert the canister with the collar notch facing upward. The valve on the canister goes into a small funnel shaped fitting. There is a spring loaded latch that fits into the collar notch. Close the compartment and activate the fuel canister lock lever on the front of the stove. The stove is now ready to use.

Personally, I use a refill adapter to refill my One-LB propane bottles from the 20-LB BBQ propane tank. I like the ease of the 1-LB bottles. The 20-LB tanks are too bulky for camping trips. Cheerios.

Answer:	No It's not needed and no connection. Just one 8 ounce can other brand or 8.8 ounce of coleman butane and you're good to go.
Question:	What can I place under the burner to use on my dining table
Answer:	Camping I do not use anything and none of my plastic table tops have had any injury do to heat. Nor has the metal or wood picnic tables at campsties. I bought the flameless version last fall after seeing one at a caving convention in July last year in MT. It will allow me to have a fameless version to cook when our wild fire season in MT is demanding no flame cooking. They often allow the flameless version which by the way is not flameless just has a kind of closed cover on top like an electric burner making it appear flameless. Under the burner is a flame unlike this version and which has an open burner much like a gas range burners have. Makes all the difference when camping during wildfire season however. BY THE WAY if you buy one that does not have a wind shield make one or buy one they make all the difference in the world for fuel effeciency as well as heating up your pot. I bought my stove over 10 years ago with no wind shield and made one about 8 years ago from aluminum sheeting sold on Amazon. I cut it into tall pieces that fold up and hinged them together with metal wire coil binders and yes used the paper punch that uses those wire binders to make the holes. It worked great. And it folds up and fits right on top of stove tucked inside the plastic case that came with that stove. Bottom line most of these stoves are pretty much equal with some slight differences. Overall great. At home I find using a silicone sink mat even though it has ridges to dry dishes or use as a hot plate works extremely well to keep it from sliding. These also sold on Amazon are rated over 500 degrees and food safe silicone. Come in variety of colors but I prefer frosted or clear. I have not used the mats camping. A Silicone baking sheet my not insulate as much as you are concerned with. But like I said have never had so much heat to harm any surface including the plastic folding tables I often use when camping if there is no picnic table available. Question:	How long will a can of butane last with this stove
Answer:	I have not used this stove yet, but I thought I saw a canister can last up to an hour and a half or two hours depending on how high you have it.

Answer:	This is our second one, we use them for camping, backyard cooking, power outages, emergency kit/ travel kitchen, for many Asian table cooked foods like hotpots, shabu shabu, stir fries... I enjoy cooking on it, it sits on the glass top stove with a vent above, windows 6' and 15' away on either side, and a comfortable cooking height. The fuel cans last longer if you do not open it 100% to cook, we find open about 75-85% works fine. In about 8 years we've never had a problem, nor during indoor cooking, has the co2 monoxide detector gone off. If you use it inside, make sure you have good cross ventilation, and a working carbon monoxide detector nearby. This uses oxygen, and can be dangerous if you don't have windows sort of across from each other, open slightly (we have them open about 1 to 1.5" in winter or rain, wider in summer, and if there's no wind, we have a fan, electric or battery) blowing out the closer window. Excessive? Not if you were almost killed by co2 poisoning when the furnace repairman didn't put it back together right and we had all the co2 coming into the house. Now our all electric house has a battery co2 detector. Hope this helps for uses & sadety...
