Question:	From what I see in the reviews it seems that there is a problem with the cord getting to hot and the tip of it melting.Is there a better quality cord
Answer:	I've had no issues with the cord attached to the cooler itself but I did have an issue with the Schumacher PC-6 120AC to 6A 12V DC Power Converter that I purchased for indoor use. It ran hot and in less than 6 months it died (Amazon graciously allowed me to return it and gave me a full refund). I replaced it with a Wagan 5 Amp AC to 12V DC Power Adapter. While it gets a little warm, it runs much cooler than with the Schumacher adapter. In fact, the Igloo runs quieter and appears to be more efficient with this adapter. That said I think the power source may be the root cause of the issues that others may have with overheating/melting. I run my cooler inside, all day, everyday as it serves as my office refrigerator and I've had it since last November. I love it and will buy another on the sad day planned obsolescence kicks in.
Question:	Why is the larger unit cheaper than the smaller unit
Answer:	Really don't know but I found out that the larger one keeps cooler much longer and at a lower degree.

Answer:	No, there's no drain plug, which my daughter (gift recipient) says is a bit of a disadvantage, but she said she loves the cooler anyway. Since it's small, it's not hard to tip to drain. It probably insulates better than a Playmate.

Answer:	On youtube there are several vids on cooler improvements. One person got some 1" thick rigid foam and put in the cooler then sealed with aluminum HVAC tape. I would improve on that a get a piece of that rigid 4x8 foam with reflective surface from Lo__es. I think it's called polytherm and it's a light green color. The reflectivity along with the isulation may give 1-2 days longer ice retention. I think it was under 10 bucks.

Answer:	Depends how much weight you have in it. The wheels are rather small and clearly designed more for hard surfaces like concrete. It's passable on gravel. On a beach you might be able to drag it along if there was only 1 6-pack and a small block of Dry Ice in it, but it's not really designed for that.

Answer:	Your real problem is you're only bringing 11 beers. You may want to up the number of beers and leave the squirrel carcasses out of the cooler. I find fresh squirrel stays good out of refrigeration at least a day or so, just keep the flies away. Obviously, if you're bringing less than a case of beer your only really out for a day outing.

Answer:	I just drove from Florida to Texas over several days, hauling the cooler from passenger side floor to hotel room and back daily. I bought it for just this purpose and it was perfect--size was great and it's built tough. I had my original ice for two full days.

Answer:	We put the standard 16 ounce water bottles in here. I would think you could put a 12ounce in as well. This cooler is perfect and works great f or my son who takes a very large lunch and 6 water bottles to work everyday.
