Answer:	With a torso range of 14.5-18.5 in (37-47 cm) the Redwing 44 is very much a unisex pack. The best fit will be within the torso range. To measure your torso:Have a friend measure your back. Stand with your back to them and your hands on your hips like you are scolding someone. Your thumbs will point to a stop on your lower spine. Start from this point and measure up to the C-7 vertebrae, which is the one that sticks out of the back of your neck when you touch your chin to your chest. The measurement between these 2 points is your torso length.

Answer:	on the top of the clock, there is a switch that says alarm OFF ON. Slide switch to ON. After you turn the switch to on, press and hold the button that says alarm. While holding that button down, press and hold the button on the left side that says H, when you have the correct HOUR, take your finger off,and put it on the button that says M until you reach the correct minute. Then take your finger off. Your alarm is now set. When you don't need the alarm any more turn the alarm ON OFF switch off.

Answer:	50 liters. It goes from like 40 liters to 50 liters depending on how high you stack and cinch the top. Overall, its a very good entry level bag. Its no Kifaru, Beyond, Kealty, etc. but for the money, it's damn good. It is actually extremely comfortable to wear, even when im wearing my full kit (plate carrier with ESAPI plates, front and back). I use it to workout and for travel. However, in the end, you get what you pay for. The material is cordura "like" but not as heavy duty as the high end bags. Overall though, if you are not trying to break the bank, i highly recommend it.

Answer:	The interior pocket can accommodate up to a 3l bladder. But be warned, the slot is not really padded so you *will* feel the bladder against your back, and adding a full 3l bladder does take away some interior space.
Question:	The description of the product says is water resistant, if it rains will this be enough or the inside will get wet
Answer:	Not anymore. Airlines want their baggage fees and more are sticking to the 22"x14"x9" as maximum carry on. This is not even close.
Question:	Does this pack come with a raincover
Answer:	Your question assumes fit is about height or weight of hiker. It. is. not. A backpack has to fit the TORSO DIMENSIONS of the wearer. Almost everyone has a torso between 16 and 22 inches (measured from C7 vertebrae (bottom of neck)) to the top plane of your hips, where the belt goes. In other words you need to measure that dimension (or have someone else do it for you, it's a bit tricky to do yourself since you'd be measuring down your spine). Since this is an ADJUSTABLE pack, it will almost certainly fit you. If you watched the video, the guy showed some patches of what looked like velcro and mentioned adjustment. These allow you to adjust the pack to your torso length. (I will allow that if you've got an oversized gut, that fitting requires a lumbar support belt of sufficient size. It also may require some personalization, no two people carry their weight in exactly the same places.). A 55 L pack is sufficient for 2-3 days if you pack heavy, and maybe twice that if you pack light. There are two "sizes" for a pack. Both I've mentioned: the fit and the length of the trip. Of course, how much volume it holds is quite a different matter from how heavy a load you are willing to carry for mile after mile. I do not own one of these, but the loading looks to be good enough for a weekend hike, you may want a more comfortable pack for longer trips. HTH

Answer:	Dennis, Not sure what kind of compression bag you have for your sleeping bag? But if it is of good quality and compresses it should fit. I have a long sleeping bag and it fits into the sleeping bag space. I was also able to put a fleece sweater in the sleeping bag space with my bag. I have a very compact sleeping pad it's from exped and it fits into one of the side pockets. The exped is a blow up but it's 3 inches and its small. I stole the exped pad from Serria Trading Post on clearance. Most sleeping pads probably will not fit it needs to be a blow up one and have the ability to compress very small. Hope this helps. If you need more room try the 4700 it's only 10 bucks more and it has more space. I'm thinking this is my next purchase when I decide to get another pack. Hope this helps.?

Answer:	Yes, this backpack can fit in the overhead compartment. I've traveled on various sized airplanes (jumbo jet to propeller commuter planes) throughout US, China, and southeast Asia with this backpack as a carry-on. Had no problems.

Answer:	No, the middle zipper is only for an outside pocket. The main compartment can be accessed through the sleeping bag zipper at the front-bottom and the drawstring at the top.

Answer:	50 liters. It goes from like 40 liters to 50 liters depending on how high you stack and cinch the top. Overall, its a very good entry level bag. Its no Kifaru, Beyond, Kealty, etc. but for the money, it's damn good. It is actually extremely comfortable to wear, even when im wearing my full kit (plate carrier with ESAPI plates, front and back). I use it to workout and for travel. However, in the end, you get what you pay for. The material is cordura "like" but not as heavy duty as the high end bags. Overall though, if you are not trying to break the bank, i highly recommend it.

Answer:	There are straps underneath the 10 liter attachment as well as on the outside of the 10 liter compartment. So, you can strap a rifle on the outside of it or take the 10 liter compartment off and strap your rifle to the bag directly. The straps are a bit unwieldy for larger and heavier rifles (still usable), but most hunting rifles and AR or AK platform rifles should be completely fine. Also, the first guy's comment was literally boomer-tier lol.
Question:	will this fit a 12 year old boy 5'2'' and 90lb
Answer:	Mine has a large, full length pocket in the very back and a opening for the hydration tube. There is a Velcro loop for the bladder hook. I keep seeing people say “no” to this question and I always ask myself what product are they commenting about...? Mine is the 65+ and HAS a bladder pocket, Velcro loop for hanging and, an opening for the hose.

Answer:	the S.O.G. is not made using nylon, you can read in the actual description of the product, IT is 100% polyester, google Nylon vs. Polyester, you will find out that nylon is more expensive to make than polyester, that's why product made with such material are always more expensive, but the benefit is that it is way more durable specially in weather conditions, so yeah, the SOG version is cheaper, but it wont last as long as the 5.11 version of this backpack, which is the RUSH 72 , plus 5.11 is in most products better than S.O.G. .
