Answer:	Because of COVID we have not been able to use them yet. My wife, however, was a professional seamstress for over 30 years, the last 20 or so repairing outdoor clothing and gear. Question:	Is the hose only used as a straw? Or can I pour some water into a portable dog bowl as well
Answer:	You'll have to start the flow like normal when you're are drinking from it. Then quickly bring the hose down to make it free flow. You might have to squeeze it from closing. I normally just keep my fingers around the nosal to prevent my dog from licking it and just have her like my fingers. Otherwise fill a bowl if that works better for you.

Answer:	There are protected pockets inside the pack. Unless you poured water directly on the pack you shouldn’t have any problems.
