She plays club ball in spring season and for the school in Fall so she plays year round and always gets a new pair with club uniform and also with uniform for school ball. All other knee pads she has gotten are too big except these. I am guessing when my daughter was 55 lbs she was using these knee pads as well. In order to get the proper fit, I recommend using a tape measure and and grab the measurements from around the top of the knee and around the bottom of the knee (where the kneepad fits) A size small would fit an 11" on the top and 10" on the bottom. A size medium would fit 12" on the top and 11" on the bottom. A size large would fit 13" on the top and 12" on the bottom. If she happens to fall between two sizes, I recommend going with the smaller size for a tighter fit and a larger size for a looser fit. I hope this helps!
