Answer:	Due to liability the school has a bar put in the middle of the inside of the helmet that does not allow the helmet to be put on. I cannot tell you to remove the bar.

Answer:	The pads are the main difference along with the sIze. Authentic helmets are all size large and slightly larger than replicas which are size medium.
