Answer:	That all depends on what you refer to as 'Original DVD Movies'. That could be a DVD Video Movie that is home made, and that would be an 'Original' that you can copy and burn. Answer:	From what I read online about 4 months ago when I bought this(not through amazon) there isn't any video software that can run a 4k blu ray. I think it's a hardware problem and it's also most likely a copyright issue with Sony. My blu ray drive wouldn't even recognize a 4k disc. Forgot to mention in my original answer, if you can get a blu ray drive that at least recognizes the disc, you may be able to rip it from the disc and still watch it in 4k. I've always been of the opinion that an actual blu ray looks a bit clearer than a file that was ripped from a blu ray but i'ts probably still better than upscaling.

Answer:	I think CyberLink is a very liberal, customer oriented company. Their Tech Support has always been excellent. There are companies that try to bleed you death by only allowing use on one PC. They limit the use to one PC by using a server that identifies you each time you activate their program. You know the program you bought, but don't really own, even though you paid for it. I have the complete set of CyberLink products. They have never tried to limit me to only using one of my PCs. In fact, they've always been very reasonable and cooperative with me. That's why I continue to buy off of them. Some software companies are owned by 1st class control freaks. They must get great satisfaction limiting how you use your equipment.

What you need to do though is continually install the free software updates for PowerDVD found here: https://www.cyberlink.com/support/powerdvd-ultra/patches_en_US.html And also continually update your GPU drivers and disc drive firmware. These are the three things you must do to continue to play Blu-rays, as the movie studios update the keys required for playback. Answer:	You will need additional software in order to play Blu-ray Discs. For windows they provide a free viewer, which I cannot comment on, since I own a Mac. For a Mac, I recommend Blu-ray Player Pro, which has a free version, but it has a watermark that does get annoying after awhile. The paid version is $35, and it works great. Hope that helps.

Answer:	No HDMI is encrypted to prevent copying. However there is software available to make a copy from a blu ray or 4K disc to your hard drive and then burn another disk if you so desire using this drive.

Meaning that if you have an Nvidia or AMD or any other brand of discrete graphics card, there is no way to get UHD to play. On the other hand, most pre-"4K Ready" blu ray drives actually ARE capable of playing UHD with appropriate aftermarket software modifications/support...

Question:	How long is this program licensed to use
Answer:	I just looked at the info that came with the program and I can't find any documentation that supports licensed use. This is my 4th version of Nero and none came with a licensed time frame. Usually, the current version I was using would become unusable by a change in windows operating systems. I would never purchase ANY program with a license. The program has an update feature described in their manual, which they recommend you use after you first install, though I didn't know that till just now. Basically, I bought the program to copy unprotected DVDs, CDs and to do some basic video editing and effects. I think I paid $30.00 for it, which is a good price. Answer:	I couldn't even get it to function in ANY computer, two of which were intel i3 CPU's with 8Gb ram and 1-4 Tb HD's. This software is full of unresolved coding issues, STAY AWAY. Attempts to get tech support assistance was worthless, and attempts to get a refund went nowhere. Cyberlink POWER DVD is a better product, have been using it to play blueray and standard dvd's without ANY problem.
