If it got wet, you could just dry it off with a paper towel or towel. This is the best paper towel holder I've ever had and I've had it for a few years. I simply waited until my current livesafe was up and installed. Also, you need to install via the access code thru your on line McAfee account. It wont do it from inside livesafe unless you buy their version at an exorbitant price.
