Question:	Can this be used to cut hard woods witthout burning the wood
Answer:	As others have have stated it really depends on a lot of things, this is however more of a face mill it's not intended to take deep fast cuts, if you need to go deep use a conventional roughing end mill and use this for your final passes to get a nice clean finish. I've used mine on titanium and 7075 aluminum and it has produced a very nice smooth finish on the material.
Question:	How many thousandths cut (per pass) can one take when using this tool on various metals
Answer:	Look up ‘speeds and feeds’. Google that phrase, you’ll find what you need. Varies greatly with what you’re cutting, depth of cut, lubrication, rigidity of machine and workholding.
Question:	What rpms have people been running this at? i have found suggestions on pm ranging from 250, to 2200... makes no sense
Answer:	This is Standard R8 Shank ( Bridgeport Shank); which means the smaller end is 0.949" and larger end if is 1.25"; Shank length is 4"; drawbar thread is 7/16-20. Thanks.

Question:	What's the torque specification for these collets
Answer:	I can't answer that question, however I can tell you that I was disappointed in the set that I received because of runout between .004 & .010 on the 5 collets that I checked with a test indicator in my mill spindle. This far exceeded the specs claimed in the description. Maybe I just got a bad set, but I returned it.

Answer:	I use one of these over my wood lathe and find it to supply more than enough light for wood turning. I suspect they would be good and at that price point, if not they could be used elsewhere while you look for stronger lights.

Answer:	I bought a little steel mending plate with a couple of holes and used two flat head screws (glue would work, too) to mount to a wood surface. It sticks great to that. Its very light weight and the magnet strong. But its too long to stand up on its own. unless you have it straight up like the picture.

Answer:	10 feet or 10 min.

Answer:	They do ok in aluminum. Sticks a little depending on setup and really a 3-flute is preferred. No idea about lead.

Answer:	I mean yes, but coated end mills are more for metals. Wood debris sticks to the coating. You'd also need the appropriate collets and such.
