Answer:	There is no way to know if this is the same as Pjur. While the ingredients may be the same, there is no way of knowing what the sourcing or formulation is. I find that it works as well and lasts as long as Pjur. I have found that different formulations may produce allergic reactions even though the labeling appears similar.

Answer:	You can get silicone grease. It's actually Dielectric grease. It doesn't liquefy at low temperatures and retains viscosity well. Also, I have seen but cannot vouch for something called "Technician's Choice Silicone Lube" (not found on Amazon). It was only $0.31/oz.
