Answer:	Sorry I have never tried it for a dog.... Only for horses. For my dogs I use a couple squirts Alaskan Naturals wild salmon oil made especially for dogs. I have 2 dogs 110 pounds... ithe fish oil works for them and helps them and they love it. And it was recommended by the vet.

Answer:	I use this with my draft horses who had developed hoof issues before I took them in. The farrier was very impressed with the hoof growth and said to keep using it! I also have a standard donkey and asked if I should use it with him...was told not to -- because he is a pill to trim and his hooves grow fast enough without it. I don't know if biotin is something that donkeys ever need and the container doesn't say anything about not using it on donkeys. If I were you I would contact the company as there are many common horse items that are not to be used on donkeys.
