Answer:	Not exactly. I tried this one on mine and although it fit, I had to really squeeze it in. I think I kind of left a dent on my filters, but it works! This is also worth it considering Top Fin’s prices are more expensive for sure.

Answer:	The plastic goes toward the tank. Water flows through the cloth side, and that is where poop and other solid material should get lodged. The water then flows through the cloth to the activated carbon. The water should always be filtered before it gets to the activated carbon, as the carbon removes gases and not solid material. The water then flows through the slots in the plastic side back into the tank. If you turn it the other way around, water flows through the plastic part directly to the activated carbon, where the carbon will quickly stop working because it would get clogged with poop. The plastic is not designed to be part of the filter, just to return water to the tank. Again, you want poop and other solid material stuck in the cloth side before the water gets to the activated carbon inside. Plastic side goes to tank, cloth side is ALWAYS IN ALL FILTERS the first thing the "dirty" water is supposed to touch.

Answer:	Probably if u find a pump the same size. Before you do that though, slide the bottom part off where the suction cups are. Then pull out the little fan part, try cleaning the barrel and then the inside of the pump with a q- tip. Some times mine would stop working be cause it would get to slimmy. Try that

Answer:	Hi, I use the Medium size whisper filter cartridges...the difference between the 26164 & ATS26164 could be the fact that one is a pre-assembled cartridge and the other is not. I buy the 12 pack of unassembled filters which are quite a bit cheaper and are the identical product. It comes with the white filters, one plastic insert, and small charcoal bags that take a few minutes to assemble. Hope this helps.
Question:	Does it fit topfin power filter
Answer:	I bought these about a month ago for my top fin 10 filter. The cartridge in my top fin 10 is angled inward at the bottom whereas this filter cartridge is more of a rectangular shape. Due to the shape it does not fit the top fin 10 slot. However I kept my old cartridge frame and I'm using this product, everything works great.

Answer:	Absolutely not. I bought this filter for a small temporary tank with only 4 inches of water in it for my hatchling. I don’t know your set up, but turtles are messy and require 2-3 times the filtration power of fish. I went to a 30 gallon high tank, filled it 90% and ordered an aquaclear 70 filter; they’re among the very best. It filters 300 gallons an hour, over kill, but you can adjust it to half that without burning out the motor.
