Answer:	I have the red and the blue king size blankets and I have had no problem at all. Because of their large size, I wash and dry them alone, but I have not had any shedding problems at all. I've had them for almost a year and I am very, very happy these blankets! We use them on the couches for movie night and as an extra blanket on the beds when the weather is freezing. Great buy!!

Answer:	I wash w/ hot water, not cold. I dry on sanatize. I also wash and dry this once a week, by itself in the washer. It looks and feels as great as it did at first. The only problem I have had is that this blanket seems to hold detergent. I use very little, but it always has to many suds. I then wash it a second time w/ no detergent, still suds. I have a HE washer and I use the same HE detergent for everything I wash, so I know it is not that. Next week when I wash this I am going to try adding no detergent at all and see. I hope the suds go away because it can't be good for my washer. I have had this blanket for about a year now. I love it, so I hope I don't need to look for something else.

Answer:	This is the Vellux Microfleece blanket. The Vellux Original is the blanket with the 100% nylon flock on an insulating foam base that has been made for year and years.

Answer:	The twin size is 66 x 90. If you must cut it down, I would only do if you are very good at sewing. You'd need to wrangle the sort of stretchy fabric to do hems like on the original. Even so, it probably won't be good. In doing a quick search on Amazon for a 60 x 74 blanket, I saw results for 60 x 80. Seems better to buy one of them?
