Answer:	Remember that crayfish can crawl out. We tried this once and found our crayfish missing one morning. They don't do well out of water.
Question:	I would like to know if i need any specific water set up for my betta ? And can i use live soil for a live plant habbit
Answer:	If you use soil your water will not be clear, it will look like weak tea, as in an Amazon river kind of set up. Mine is like that and it's fine, but if you want clear water use coconut husk media or some other soil substitute. And Bettas can live in a toilet bowl I think, very hard fish to kill, so no they don't need any special water conditions.
Question:	What is the best growing compound for live plants in the tank and safe for my betta
Answer:	Hello, I would not recommend this tank for plants unless you change both the light and filtration, including a new powerhead/pump. After that, the type of substrate or rocks depends on the type of plants you wish to grow. This is due to the different type of root systems for the plants. Most store bought items will be fine.

Question:	Do you have to use a plant a fully grown plant? Or can you plant/grow seeds and then put the growing roots in the holes
Answer:	My son use a fully grown plant . He bought small Peace Lily then he took all soil off and washed the roots before put the root in the hole.

Answer:	No but... they eat the build up on the roots doesn't hurt the plant or fish BUT...does say need to feed protein pellets as well. Hardest part for me was getting the roots through the holes.

Answer:	if you look up aquaponics you will find more information about what types of plants can be grown. We are growing herbs and a bamboo stem. In order for the plan or herbs to be grown they have to be already growing with roots so the roots can be immersed in the water
Question:	could i keep a glass catfish in this
Answer:	No. Ghost/glass catfish are schooling fish and need to be kept in groups of six or more to avoid stress death. You'll need to look for a 30+ gallon to humanely care for them. A mere half gallon like this isn't suitable for ANY fish, let alone a schooling species.

Answer:	I came home and my filter was not running. I have had this for a month and it was running great. I cleaned out the filter, etc. and cannot get it to prime. I feel like I have tried everything! I filled the canister with water and it will not prime. When using the prime button, the water goes up to a certain point but does not prime.. Help!

Answer:	Yes. I use this for my CST in a 55 gallon tank. This is a great filter. Remember, it is more about the media you use than the filter alone. Experiment with media to see what works best for you. For my turtle, I have found that layering sponges in the bottom tray from coarse, medium to fine and then using Matrix bio media in the next 2 trays and then using carbon and an ammonia neutralizing carbon in the last two trays works wonders. It really keeps my turtle tank clean. This filter is easy to use, prime and clean. Plus it is very affordable. All canister filters are basically equal, the media is what really matters.
Question:	Will this include an installation manual and all the tubings? I am new to canister filters and I want to know as much as possible before purchasing
Answer:	Yes, though you would do well to check out some YouTube videos demonstrating the setup, as well as the steps to take to disconnect the unit from the tubes for cleaning. The manual that comes with the filter is a great start, but a little unclear at times.
