Question:	Could I put this in a 3.5 gallon tank? Is 50W too strong for my betta fish's aquarium
Answer:	50w shouldn't be too strong. Even when I crank it up to the full 82 degrees on my five gallon (which hold 3 gallons of water) it only gets to 72 or 75 degrees max.
Question:	I have this in a 5.5 gal will it burn my fish? They are algae eaters and they get close to it, will they get burnt
Answer:	No mine is in a 6 gallon pico reef tank, my scooter blenny actually climbs it now and then with no problem.

Answer:	Hi, wich kind of filter you want to put the heater in? Is there are enough of water in the filter to keep the heater never out of water? Please note the 50W heater is about 5inch long.
Question:	will this not work properly when inclined at 45 degree? It is switching on and off within a minute even though the water temperature is 4 degree less
Answer:	It should work at any angle. I have 2 of the 50w heaters, one of them is 2 degrees “off”, it might be defective? I would attempt a return/exchange this is my favorite aquarium heater! It is the most accurate, also I use a laser temperature gauge to check the surface of the water, as some thermometer can be faulty. Maybe adjust the temperature? I know that when it was cold it was frequently turning on, also the water circulation is a factor, if you have a “still” aquarium, it makes sense that it is turning off and on and it will do so, till the temperature regulates, or generates a constant current to exchange the hot/cold water.

Question:	What does the red light mean? New heater, had a red light for a few minutes but then no light and the water temperature hasn’t warmed up at all
Answer:	For mine, the red light means the heater is activated. When it turns off, it means the water has reached the maximum set temperature (not adjustable) of the heater, probably in the low 80s.

Answer:	Hi there. I have mine for a 40 gallon tank and it seems like enough light. I would think it should be sufficient for your 20 gallon tank.

Answer:	The little "wall-wort" power supply will work with ether 110 OR 220 as will many switching power supplies. "Submerged into a pool?" The light bar; YES as it is fed 12 volts (class 2 low voltage) and appears to be pretty well sealed. The power supply: NO!!! High voltage and water together is what engineers refer to as a "BAD IDEA" and could change your plans for a future.

Answer:	The three plastic plants that come with the heater are a green grass a purple orcid style and and a red flowering plant

Answer:	Yes! It’s always different. It’s always warmer than the thermometer. But my fig and plants are doing great so I guess it’s okay.

Answer:	I don't believe the heater gets hot enough to scald the fish. The heater only lets the water get 2-3 degrees cooler than the setpoint (if I set the temperature to 75 F, the heater will turn on at 72 or 73 F), so it doesn't need to work hard to get the water up to temperature. Also, water is an excellent conductor of heat, so if the outside temperature of the heater is hot enough to scald the fish, then all the water is probably hot enough to scald the fish.
Question:	Why is the heater blinking ll? i just plugged it in this morning and it is warming but blinking red ll. is it defective? please let me know. thank
Answer:	If you click though all the temperature options, and go back to desired temperature, it should stop flashing LL and show you the temperate it is at instead

How to use the external controller:

• Plug in, the controller LED lights on, press the button and switch it continuously until the LED display shows your expecting temperature (From 68~93℉ ), and wait 3 seconds for system confirmation, then heater will start heating up to your preset temperature.
• Red lights means the heater is on heating mode, when heater heating up to the preset temperature, blue lights on, and heater will stop heating (Restart heating when temperature less than preset temperature)
• Operation for example: Plug in and LED display shows preset temperature 68℉, you want adjust it to 78℉, then press the button 10 times continuously, LED display will shows 78℉, and wait 3 seconds flashing, then setting fishined, heater will start heating from 68℉ to 78℉.

Maintenance:

This heater is free maintenance item, for the good of heater function and service life, we suggest:

• Check the heater working status regularly, if any strange signs,please plug off immediately.
• Clean the heater suction cups regularly (3 months)with 140℉ warm water and soak it for a while.
• If you found any soil or moss things covered on the heater, please plug off the heater and clean it with fresh water after a few minutes later, especially the heating part stains. Do not use any other liquid to clean the heater, it may damage the heater

• Please install and use this heater under rated voltage conditions(110V-120V/60Hz).
• This heater is designed for small fresh/sea water tanks, please do not use it in chemical water or any other heating purpose, it may damage the heater.

How to set the temperature?

1. When first powered on, the default setting of 79℉ will be displayed

2.And then the red indicator lights up, entering heating state

3. pressing the “set” button until your needed temperature is displayed
