I like that it can display the battery life of the two units on the remote control. So far, a single charge of the remote control and the collar has lasted more than two weeks. My dog responds well to the beeping sound, even only tied to the collar, so I can't see the electric shock function is needed.

Answer:	This collar is all you need for training your dog. I do not use the shock mode unless it is absolutely necessary. I have a Belgium Malinois, very active, and he is being trained mostly with the vibration mode. I get his attention at 1st with the beep tone, if he doesn’t listen, then I go to the vibration mode. I had to use the shock mode a few times at the beginning, but now he knows what comes next after the vibration. The battery stays charge for about 2 weeks, takes 4 hours to re-charge. It is water proof, good thing because my dog loves to jump in the pond, every day! So far, so good, good training tool. Recommend that patience is utilized when training your dog with collar, don’t use the shock mode, unless necessary. I kept the shock level at 12, try the collar on your arm at level 2 before putting on your dog, will make you think twice about putting the level to high for your dog, Love your dog, don’t abuse your doggy!

Slide the buckle on the strap up and down to a proper position to adjust the collar length.

step 2: Slide and thread the strap

Question:	Does it shock the dog if it goes out of a certain rang or is it all manual
Answer:	I can relate 100% to you and your dog! I bought this collar for my dog about a month an a half ago and I haven't had to put it past the level 3 shock and my dog is a very head strong dog. I also only had to put it on the level 3 twice. Now she responds to greatly to the tone and vibrate and every once an awhile the level 1 shock even when she is chasing the deers in my yard. I do believe that this product will work wonders for your dog and it has more than enough power to get your dog to listen.
Question:	does this have different intensities for the vibration
Answer:	I don't know specifically, but everytime I have called the company they have stepped up and either replaced for free or send the part or charged me shipping at the most. Pet safe rocks
Question:	Can the dog wear it swimming
Answer:	Yes, it can. There's no minimum range. I pair it with the "leave it" command so that if the dog is after something something he shouldn't be he gets a first warning to "leave it" and if he doesn't listen, I press the button and repeat the "LEAVE IT" while holding the button until he leaves it alone. Try a webcam if you want to be able to be out of the room and teach the dog that even if you're not there, the food is to be left alone.
Question:	How strong is the vibration setting? I guess the question is how does the vibration setting compare to like a cellphone set on vibrate? Is it stronger
Answer:	Probably better for a dog over 20 lbs or so...very large collar (but extremely adjustable and made of a Teflon/plastic so easy to cut). The actual unit is about 2 1/2 inches wide though so it might be a little large for a 20 pound or smaller animal. Works great though...my yellow lab is a great learner. Didn't take more than 3 "zaps" to keep him from chasing squirrels into the street!

Answer:	Yes, it may be a little big. My dog id 15lb and has a thick neck and it fits good. There is an adjuster on it to make it smaller.

Question:	I have extra large dogs(an english mastiff and a great dane), will this collar get their attention(meaning strength
Answer:	I have a german shepherd dog 5 months. but a very strong dog. the shock setting I've only used once and it goes from 0-100 I used it on 10 and my dog jumped about 4 feet. it very much got her attention. she remembers it still. the vibration setting is what I use most and it is set to 35. I think you would be just fine. I'm impressed with the range and the quality of the collar, if needed i would buy again. Hopefully I never need to replace :)

Question:	Does the collar go into standby mode or to sleep after a while? I have a system currently and if I don’t beep the dog every 5 mins it goes to sleep
Answer:	It kinda does the light flashes but you must make sure u are on the right corresponding channel as the collar, and it not really a shock as it is more of a vibration, I have a very stubborn pugle and he is a flight risk so Everytime he goes near the door he gets a lil jolt to tell him he's to close, and I recharge the collar about every 3-4 days, for about 3 hrs, hope that helps
Question:	Can I buy a replacement collar one is lost
Answer:	You need to check with the seller. I notice those collars come off easily. We watched one of our dogs pull hers off. That plastic just doesn't hold. Also, the black post covers come off. We've lost half of them.
