Answer:	The range on the xrs9470 is 1.33 miles it's basically the same range as the passport 9500ix I own both detectors the 9500 goes off less then a half second before the xrs9470 I use the passport more because I like the expert mode which lets the radar track multiple threats the cobra does not sometimes if the detector is getting a weak ka signal and a strong k signal it will throw the ka out thinking it's false and you'll only get the k I don't like that the expert mode has saved me many times cops around me like to sit in store parking lots to try and hide there signal sort of speak but as far as range goes I was doing 120 in a 45 and had more than enough time to slow down with the cobra and I'm talking slowing down normal not jamming on the brakes

Question:	On a dodge caravan, how did you run the wire the length of the van without it showing
Answer:	I installed on a pickup truck. Attached the camera to the license plate and got power from the tail lights. Ran the video wire under the bed protection to the cab; followed the truck's diver to the door, and into the overlap of the interior door frame panel. Followed the path inside the panels to the dash, and mounted the monitor on the dash. Got power to monitor by wiring from switch under the dash and into the interior panels. The interior panels are just screw on, so loosen those and tuck the wires in.
