Answer:	Don't pack it too heavy. It does not have a way to stay in place and will slide off of your back. Also, I've had periods of muscle pain in the mid-back from packing it with a little heavier load.

Answer:	I don't think it would make a good diaper bag. I bought one for my Granddaughter for Christmas & the zipper didn't hold for more than a week. With having to use the zipper frequently to get stuff out of it, I would not buy it.

Answer:	Yes, the Vera Bradley Lighten Up Grand Backpack has a charger pocket designed for a phone just inside the front zipper compartment. The pocket is 2 3/4 inches wide so it will be too small for a large smartphone. This Grand backpack has two main compartments. The smaller one, closest to the front does have an ID window inside and a large zipper pocket, that would fit any phone, and also two large vertical slip in pockets, one of which fits my max smartphone with a slim case. There are also 3 pen slips in this front compartment. There is also a separate padded laptop or tablet compartment behind the large main compartment and a trolley sleeve. Answer:	It carries our surface pro and still has plenty of room.

Answer:	this backpack is not meant for a laptop. maybe a smaller item like a tablet but there is really no protective padding for any high price electronic item placed in it. I would not use it as a laptop bag.

Answer:	Technically it's called an 'ejector snap'..this one is a little modified. It's used to attach the parachute leg straps to your harness. Also for your equipment lowering line. Sorry, I had to nerd-out for a second.
