Answer:	It works but not great, and is overpriced, paid $6+ for something that isn't worth $0.50, looked like I was getting 10 the way it was advertised. Don't waste your money. you can make one from a plastic spoon that works better.

Answer:	The Tick Key has worked multiple times for me on teeny tiny deer ticks. You have to use it properly and put the head of the tick at the small opening of the Tick Key, press down into the skin and pull gently until the tick releases. The ticks were the size of a pin head or smaller, came out head and all. Love that it fits in my wallet too.

Answer:	All the times we've used it, which is at least 25 on our german shepherd (he's treated with tick medication, but they still break through), and for all size deer ticks, the entire head is extracted, and easily. No need to yank, just pull straight back toward the rear of the tick (like you're plucking a hair the correct way). It's amazing.

Answer:	Yes, you'll be glad to have both sizes. This little device is the absolute best thing for removing ticks. The best part is that because you twist them off they don' t get squished so that all the bacteria inside of them doesn't get forced into who or whatever the tick is attached to!

Answer:	There are barbs on the tick's head that dig in if you try to pull it out. That's why the head separates with the pulling method. Twisting in one direction causes the barbs to collapse and tick releases from the skin. Contrary to the instructions, you should turn the tick counter-clockwise.
Question:	Does this really twist the tick. you are supposed to pull it straight out and not twist. never put anything on the tick if it is on your skin
Answer:	My opinion after getting lyme disease and studying lyme disease I wouldn't go by what the CDC says. They are clueless. Twisting the tool as you pull it out forces the tick to release it's grip. Have used many times and always comes out clean in one piece.

Answer:	Yes. I have a Great Pyreness and it worked fine. Just have to separate the fur to get to the skin.

Answer:	From the package: The most important action is to properly remove the tick as soon as possible.Proper use: May be used in any direction, front, back or side, to remove ticks.Once the tick has been isolated, is clearly visible and free from obstruction, place the wide part of the notch on the skin near the tick (hold skin taut if necessary).Applying slight pressure downward on the skin, slide the remover forward so the small part of the notch is framing the tick.Continuous forward sliding motion of the remover detaches the tick.The tick is now entirely removed. Dispose of the tick or save for testing. Treat the wound as needed. Clean the tick remover with alcohol or similar disinfectant. Use the notch on the spoon like a scoop to scrape or shave the tick off the skin. Slow and steady, get under the tick so you pull the whole body off, head and all. Answer:	Hi! it does look like a measuring spoon, but it works! it makes tick removal quick and easy. just follow the instructions (basically put the 'v'-shaped notch where the tick is attached to the skin and slide it forward. the tick detaches and is held in the 'spoon' for easy disposal in the toilet or sink. I tried it once. I have one of these gadgets at home and in the car.
