Answer:	With the wattage and amperage it says it can supply it should easily be able to handle 2 lamps. Just run a strip off the plug and only have them 2 lamps controlled by the thermostat. AGAIN, as long as it will handle what they say it can handle. A 100watt bulb should only pull just under 1 amp.

Answer:	It is just a thermostat. It works with anything heat outputting, like a heating lamp. The probe senses the temperature and turns the power on or off to whatever you plug into it.

Answer:	There is only one outlet on the thermostat. However, being that the thermostat is rated for 1000 watts, you can connect a power strip and connect multiple heating mats provided you do not exceed the units power rating. Just to be safe, I wouldn't plug in more than half the rated power (i.e. 500 watts). But for those 17 watt heating mats, that's a lot of mats!

Seeding Heat Mat Setup Instructions

• Place sensor into the rooting area about 1"- 1-1/2"
• Position thermostat up and away from seedling trays and stray water. Do not submerge
• Plug heat mat into thermostat
• Plug in thermostat power cord and set maximum desired temperature

Heat mat thermostat can also be used to control the temperature of many other appliances as long as they don't exceed the maximum electrical specifications stated above. Simply place the sensors in the area where the temperature needs to be controlled plug the appliance into thermostat, and set the desired temperature.

Abnormal Warning

• if thermostat shows "E1", it means that the actual temperature is lower than 0 degree Celsius or 32.0 degrees Fahrenheit
• if thermostat shows "E2", it means that the actual temperature is higher than 60.0 degrees Celsius or 108.0 degrees Fahrenheit

Answer:	I would say no this is a warming mat not a cooling mat.

Answer:	I would say no. There is only one probe on the thermostat and it can only deliver temperature information for one mat. That has been my experience with other brands of heat mats as well. You can "power" them, but I'd say you can't rely on consistent temperature for both mats.

Answer:	Yes. It prevented my cat from doing so. And my nieces french bull dog. A large dog may be able to still do so.

Answer:	It works fine for my 52 pound standard poodle. I refill it at least daily because he slimes the water after drinking. Gets his chin much less wet with this bowl. Your dog's ears shouldn't be a problem. Holds quite a bit of water, maybe 1/2 gallon.

Answer:	If you mean inside the piece the bowl that floats on top then no. There is not supposed to be water inside that piece.

HOW TO USE THE CONTROLLER.

①. Press the SET button to display the current pre-set temperamre, the thermostat's LED screen shows the current temperature whenever the SET button is not activated.

②. Press and hold the SET button for three seconds to enter temperature selection mode. Press the (UP) or (DOWN) button to adjust the temperature.

The thermostat's LED screen shows the numbers as you cycle through them. Press the SET button again to set the chosen temperature.

The HEATING light cycles on when the mat is in the proccss of heating.

When the LED is not lit, the mat is not providing heat. The light turns off automatically when the mat reaches the preset temperature.

③. Press the (DOWN) button to display the temperature in Celsius. Press the (UP) button to display the temperature in Fahrenheit.



TIPS.

-The Digital Heat Mat Thermostat is designed to achieve the desired heat temperature within 5 hours. If it tiikes longer than 5 hours, or if the mat runs for longer than 5 hours, desired temperatures are not being reached.

Answer:	This dish can completely come apart and be washed. The blue piece is rubbery and pops off the floating disk for easy washing. Water does go inside the floating piece to allow water to come through the middle hole but, again it can easily come apart and be completely washed. Question:	Can I use this product for a dog heat mats (Kane poly heat mat)? Thanks
Answer:	I'm sure you can. I use mine for snake heat mats. Just make sure you put the probe in a place where the dog cant move it. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the enclosure and placed the probe inside, with the heat mat under the cage. The probe reads the surface temperature of the cage floor and not of the heat element. I have 3 of these thermostats and they all work really well for animal heating. They are often a few (+-4) degrees off though.

Answer:	Press and hold down the SET button for at least 3 to 6 seconds. The display will start to blink. Press the up and down buttons to increase or decrease the desired temperature. When you are through selecting the temperature, press and hold down the SET button for at least 2 seconds. I say 3 to 6 seconds because I count manually and I'm sure I am off a second or two. Answer:	I currently have 2 heat mats plugged into a strip that in turn plugs into the Digital Thermostat. Been using this setup for 2 years, with no issues. I love it and believe that it would easily support 3 mats. Keep in mind that my mats and tray are all identical, since there is only 1 prob for the monitor.

Also, make sure the wire is taped to the side of his enclosure as tight as possible for the same reason. I use under the tank heaters for my pythons, so trun the probe down the outside of.his enclosure and put.the probe between the bottom of his tank and the heater so there's no chance that he could get wrapped up in the wire .

Answer:	It is waterproof - I have watered plants that are on it so I guess it will work - I am only a customer like you and do not know for sure

Question:	Anyone use this on a 20 gallon long tank for a leopard gecko
Answer:	I use mine to heat my 29 gallon reptile aquarium. Get the thermostat for it because these mats run at about 100 degrees without it.
Question:	can you put splitter on controller and run multiple mats
Answer:	Yes. I currently have two mats. I use them for my leopard gecko tanks and have them connected to a single thermostat to keep it a certain temp. They run off the same thermostat and have been working great for months now :)
