Answer:	No, this doesn't protect WiFi routers directly. We have a Safe Home product that is loaded onto routers by the manufacturer. But I'm guessing that what you are really asking is if you are protected when you access public WiFi. This product protects your computer by analyzing every file that comes into your system - via the internet or through removable media like CDs and flash drives. This will protect you against things trying to access your device - whether that is a laptop or phone. For further protection, you should also look into a Virtual Private Network (VPN) product which will also encrypt your communication to protect it from being snooped. Once information leaves your system, this will no longer protect it and if you are accessing public WiFi, then your traffic is vulnerable and things like credit card information could be stolen. Answer:	When you are sent the key/password, you are also sent the download site address and after installing the software, you are asked to type in the code they sent. The whole process takes about ten to fifteen minutes and is very easy and user friendly. I really liked this anti-virus program, but after getting a Windows 10 update, several of my software programs and some of the Windows 10 features would not work. After resetting the OS, everything worked, but after reinstalling Kaspersky, everything went haywire again. I did this three times with like results. I don't know why it happened, but I thought I would throw that in just in case.

I have it on my Windows 8 computer myself and absolutely love it, but I don't use Apple products. I would double check with their customer service to see if this would be supported in Apple products, but it does work amazing for Android products (I currently have it on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and I was surprised by how easily it operates in the background and how fast it gets rid of threats).

Answer:	If you are only using this for a windows PC i would recommend reformatting to ntsf. If you want the drive readable by a PC and mac try ExFat fomat. I use mine on a mac and i fomatted it to mac OS journalled. I would not recommend fat32 format under any circumstances. Answer:	You can format it in ExFAT then it will work for both Max and Windows platforms. The downside is some of the old OS won't work for ExFAT format.

Answer:	I can't find the transfer speed listed anywhere, even in LaCie spec sheet - https://www.lacie.com/www-content/datasheets/pdfs/lacie-mobile-drive-DS1997-2-1812US-en_US.pdf Based on previous experience with LaCie portable HDD units, I would guess 130-140MB/s range. This is a 2.5" HDD and whether connecting to a USB-C, USB 3.0, or Thunderbolt 3 port, speeds will be the SAME. This is not an actual Thunderbolt 3 port on the drive, it is USB-C which is "compatible" with Thunderbolt 3. And also, for a basic drive like this, the hard drive itself is the limiting speed factor. Connecting to Thunderbolt will not increase performance, basic physics. The drive can only deliver so much data per second, period. If speed is a big concern, then you need to look at an SSD portabl drive with USB-C or Thunderbolt 3, then you will see massive speed improvements. SSD will cost a lot more of course.

Answer:	It is effective for 365 days, the moment you activate the software.

Answer:	The card gives you a code you enter (need to set up on-line McAfee account) which will then allow you to download the program. 3 licenses = 3 computers. I have only one computer set up so far, but it looks like you can use the same code up to 3 times if you purchased the 3 license package. I had no problems downloading to my computer; however, the 6 month extension offer for $9.99 offer didn't work.

Answer:	I had a older version of McAfee so it automatically uninstalled old version before it installed new one, I think it would do the same for Norton because it said "looking for install issues" before it installed software.

Answer:	When you activate the first computer's Total Protection, the clock starts running for the subscription for all 3 users, whether you have installed them or not. The clock starts when you have installed and activated the program, not on the date of purchase, so if you buy today and wait until March to install it on your first computer, the year's subscription begins in march.
