No, it does not sting. I use it for my cat as I brush his teeth. I spray some in a measuring spoon so I can dip a cotton swab in it and then brush his teeth and gums with it, but I only use it about once a week...maybe twice a week sometimes....in between the regular daily brushings. Answer:	It does not have a strong odor. But most Oxy products have a slightly powder-fresh kind of smell when you spray it. Then after you dab it up and let it dry, there's no scent left.

Answer:	Glad to help. The extreme type uses enzymatic microbes to remove the stain. It will work on many lighter stains and is quite good against smells. It is also spray and forget in that it rarely requires scrubbing the stain. Stronger, dark stains however do not remove as well with the extreme variety. Answer:	You can clearly see cat urine, which is what I bought it for, no glasses necessary, but you can also see old spills of unknown liquids, barf stains, unless your floors are brand new and untainted with food stains, children stains, this exposes ALL stains besides urine which makes it a bit hard to find urine over other stains. it works but maybe too good unless your floors are brand new and not 50 years old like mine.
