Answer:	Shooting groups of people with an ultrawide works well, but people on the extreme edges of the frame will appear stretched out. It's also not the fastest lens, especially at the longer focal length, so you will most likely need a flash if you're planning on shooting indoors. It's a fun lens, but you may be better off using a faster wide/normal lens, such as the 17-55mm 2.8, or the sigma 18-35mm 1.8.

Answer:	Yes, although honestly, that will probably be too wide for most of your work there. The canyon is so expansive that you'll probably end up wanting to shoot with a longer lens on most of the time, otherwise the details of the canyon will be too small. I literally just got back from the Grand Canyon and had both the 5D Mark III and the 7D with me. I had the 16-35mm with me for the 5D and the 10-22mm for the 7D. I rarely used either lens, and instead much preferred my 24-70mm on either body.

Answer:	It should work but it's not the best choice. The 5D is a full frame camera, and the Sigma is for APS-C sensors (smaller sensor). You will see vignetting (black area at edge of picture). Answer:	I haven't used the 35mm but i can assure you the image quality is better than the 50 f1.8 or the kit lens. This sigma will serve you well as a starter lens and actually shouldn't be something you immediately feel like upgrading. Primes are well and good if you are ready for them but zooms are better for starting out. if you test out different focal lengths you can find out what prime lenses will work best for you. you don't want to buy a 35mm just to find out you'd rather have a 24, etc.

Answer:	There are a couple of differences, but the real question is what are your needs as a photographer? I'm guessing that since you are asking what the differences are between these lenses, your needs are not of the professional nature, but I don't want to assume. The F1.2 is a pro lens. It is a stop faster, has sharper optics, manual focus override with just a twist of the lens, and from what I've heard nicer bokeh. Generally Canon puts everything it has into its "L" lenses. Better optics, build quality, and finish. I do not own the F1.2. I don't need it. To quote a friend of mine that shoots models all day in L.A., "If someone hadn't stolen my F1.4, I would not have purchased the F1.2". For someone who shoots portrait and magazine covers all day and makes a living at it, the subtle differences of the F1.2 are worth the extra money. For someone like me, who shoots portraits on occasion or shots for web sites etc., the F1.4 is a wonderful lens. It's very fast, handles well, and produces great photos. Not to discount the F1.2; it is an amazing lens and if money were no object of course I would own it. Hope this helps. Happy shooting!
Question:	How big is the fan across the blades
Answer:	I'm sure you've already made your decision, but just thought I'd share my opinion for others who are torn between the two. I have the 1.8 right now and love it--However, I'm upgrading to the 1.4 (hopefully eventually to the 1.2) because the 1.8 is a little slow, and lacks professional image quality at times as a result. Additionally, the 50mm is basically my go-to lens for portraits, so it more than gets its use. Finally, I'll be keeping the 1.8 and putting it on my backup camera--it really does produce great pictures with great bokeh!!

Answer:	A 12volt is what used inside my car. I don’t think you need more voltage for it!! I’d say stick to that or smaller. But remember it’s not a wall plug outlet, it’s the cigarette outlet plug in

Question:	How does this attach to the backpack and will it really fit any bird carrier backpack with a vented side pocket
Answer:	Not sure, I have an ESO D40(older camera) and it mounts well. Most of the Cannon mounts are the same. When I ordered the Lens there was a click on to give mount compatibility somewhere in the information. I like the lens and for the money it works well. The only down side is it doesn’t have auto stabilizer but if you have a steady hand the longer shots are good. Hope this helps
