Answer:	It is plastic with bumps on the exterior, and presumably hollow. I know you can heat it or chill it, but I have never done that, and my PF is gone.

Answer:	I'm not sure I understand the question. I normally roll my foot on it for about 10 minutes or so. Personally, I find that a bottle of frozen water works better only because you can't feel the coldness as well with this product.

Answer:	I have been buying these since 2014 with no issues. I buy a new one every year because my dogs use them so much they end up a little beat up. I still have all the old ones I bought and just spread them out all over during the summer. During cold season I fold it up and throw it in my garage. I don’t even put it in a box. I think when I pull them back out and they are a little stiff but eventually soften back up. I highly recommend this brand of pad. After in write this I’m actually buying another because now my cat wants one lol. My dogs are both laying on one as I write this. I love this product.

Answer:	I think it could be used outside, especially in a shelter of some kind. I think it would work best if kept out of the sun. I have heard that people's cats like this mat.

Please don’t put your dog in a kennel on a flight, unless you are planning to take kin in the air conditioned/ heated pressurized passenger cabin.The cargo hold is so cold and noisy at altitude and so noisy.Not to mention the noxious fumes leaking in. Airplanes are a fast way of travel but can be deadly for animals. Unless you’re going to be with the dog in the baggage compartment, pay a bit more and get it a seat by you.

Answer:	The large is about 36 inches by 20 inches, which fit my long, 65-pound dog perfectly, since to be cool, the important thing is to get the body on the mat, not the head or tail. When she lies on her side, her legs also hang part way off the mat, but this too is fine. Get a size large enough so that your dog's torso will fit on the mat. She still loves this, and it still loves how cool it is, even though the weather is getting cooler.

Answer:	The cooling beds and pads work because the water remains at ambient air temperature, so if it is 90 degrees, the bed will be 90 degrees, which is 12 degrees lower than the pet’s body temperature. Answer:	The fill spout & air valve are on the bottom side and very secure. I'd be more concerned if they were on the top and the dog decided to investigate. We also placed the bed on a piece of pegboard about the same size in order to keep it flat and easier to move.

Answer:	I do not believe so. We have a frisky 50lb 2yr old dog jumping around that has not punctured this in the year we have had this bed. She did manage to chew through a corner accidentally that got tangled up with a dog bone. I will buy again.

Answer:	This is the 2nd one I've bought. There is a zipper and you can remove the foam insert. I wouldn't put it in the dryer if I did wash it. And I did wash it. It does clean up nicely with just the garden hose and a scrub brush.

Answer:	It's about 1 3/4" thick. I used a thick blanket before I bought this and my dog likes this so much more than the blanket.

Answer:	Yes this pad doesn't absorb, we use it outside in doghouse and it wipes clean, and seems to be comfortable for our 130lb dog

Answer:	I have a 98 lb Cane Corso and he has 3 of these beds all in 30x42 (Large) They are durable and I like that you can buy the replacement cots for them and not an entire bed each time. I purchased a fleece one, a mesh for outside under the porch and this one with the bolster is inside. Hope this helps

Answer:	It will go around.It is strechy all around and the head of the bed end has one long piece of sturdy elastic but unless you attach the skirt to the platform it wont stay in place.I am thinking thumb tacks or Velcro strips every few inches.I love my bed skirt.I had to get bed pins that twist into my box springs to keep it in place every few inches, but so much easier to take on and off without having to move the mattress on and off to but the usual bed skirt style on.

Answer:	A bed or cat mat is not related to a cat being in heat. Please spay or neuter your cat. Too many cats die every day in shelters.

Answer:	YES! It does make a crinkling sound that sounds like rice crispies. Not disturbing at all to me (pad is on couch right next to me) but cat seemed to be wary of it at first. I think most pets will get used to it.

Answer:	No, not really. It's barely noticeable. All 3 of my dogs and my 1 cat use them. I have 3! The crinkling noise it makes is very subtle and it's only if you scrunch it with your hands. Mine don't make noise when the pets get on them. They love them!

Making the Most of the Cool Bed III:

The best results will be obtained when used in a shady area. When using outdoors, always place the Cool Bed III in a shady, cool spot, as this will maximize its heat wicking abilities.
