Answer:	I no longer have this utensil set. With taht being said i do not remember it haveing a can opener. I carry a p38 style can opener at all times in my wallet, on a key chain, and stuffed in other places. The p38 or p50 style can opener is compact and inexpenseinve but very reliable.

Answer:	yes, but I think it is more of a garden trowel than a shovel. I gave mine away and bought a real AMES GI folding shovel.

Answer:	Ignore the last "answer" from me - I answered for the wrong product. THIS shovel I bought in 2017 and it is not at all like the military ones and it bent quite quickly.

Answer:	Absolutely not. That's the reason I purchased it. It can't even dig a basic plug in sod without bending. This thing is incredibly low quality. Avoid it like the plague.

Answer:	As with any axe, you will need to sharpen it frequently. When you get it, the answer is "Ha ha ha, definitely not, lord no." Buy a file and a sharpening puck.

Answer:	no. It comes with a molded plastic cover but you have to tear it up to get it off of the axe. I use a strip of duct tape to cover the edge when not in use.

Answer:	while extended the collar must be screwed down by spinning it. if it does not grab tight then it's broken. it's a plastic piece so it breaks easily. get a real US Military Issues Shovel on Ebay like I did and you'll be a lot happier. They look the same in photos but the difference is HUGE. my army one can be used to lever boulders, my coleman one bent shoveling dirt

Answer:	Not worth it. The shovel bent just digging in tough soil. No rocks.. just dry dirt. I may had gotten a bad one in the make. But I purchased another cheap version elsewhere and it had lasted.

Answer:	The large nut that holds the shovel erect was plastic on mine and yes it broke almost immediately. I bought a used USA military issue folding shovel after breaking several of these, got it on e b a y and it's the best you can get; I've had it for years.
