What happened was that the heat generated by the cable box softened the adhesive, so we were greeted by a huge THUNK when the whole thing fell to the ground. I considered re-mounting it while cold to allow the adhesive to "set" first but decided to stop messing around and mount it with screws.

Answer:	You can but these at your local home depot or Lowe’s and only few dollars Mine was drywall / wood beams so I used the ones they provided with the Mount

Answer:	short answer, no. I've used and will continue to use these but i would NOT remove them from the wall if you aren't prepared to at minimum repaint behind. In my opinion things like these aren't supposed to be removed from the wall and are "Set it and forget it". i removed one from the wall, it took up a lot of paint (to be fair it was pretty new paint) i scraped all the paint chips off the back of the adhesive AND 60-70% of the adhesive off the back ENTIRELY. let the product sit around for a couple weeks back adhesive exposed to dust etc. while i waited for my new cords to reuse it with. after ALL that it stuck to the wall securely a 2nd time with only 30% of its strip left. This is just an example of the strength on it. I recommend the product just saying if you are gonna pull em down regularly youd have to make adjustments like the command strips another comment mentioned.
