Answer:	Personally I couldn't text using the stand. I gave them to friends at work and they love 'em. It's good for viewing pic clips and answering the phone. The stand is stable but it sits low to the table.

Answer:	These are plastic and I do believe there is any paint involved. I am not knowledgable about the process of making plastic items, but these appear to be colored at the time they are produced. Not sure, but my best guess. I doubt there is any lead involved in these. They are great little stands, I love them.

Answer:	That was hard for me also. I had to try two sizes on his feet. I have a 65lb mutt and I thought he had BIG feet but the large fit him well. It took a few tries to get the hang of putting them on but they work very well and are worth the effort. They are very roomy side to side so try to go by how long you will need them.
Question:	During the summer will these make my dog too hot if i continue to have her wear them on our walks
Answer:	My 38 lb border collie sometimes tears her pads herding sheep. I put vet wrap on her feet and the boots on top of that, and she ran for an hour today on dirt and grass. These boots stay on; they are a little tight at the top, but as soon as she is done working, I take the boots off. The boots do tear, but so far have worked great. I will take the suggestion of another reviewer and use duct tape to stop the nails from puncturing them.

Answer:	I think so. My dog is a 38-pound Lab mix. The opening is snug on his scrawny legs; otherwise there's plenty of room. So if your dog has slim legs, I think it's the right size. If its legs are beefy, then maybe go up one. Sorry I can't be more definite.

Answer:	On the PAWZ website they have a PDF sheet you can download to measure the paw of the dog. I did that, my dog is part bichon and part shihtzu. the small fit her great. my great aunt has a toy poodle and she would probably be an xs. they give instructions on the manufacturers website (pawz) for measuring.

Question:	I have Shit-Zu, what kind of size should I get
Answer:	It depends on their foot size. My Jack Russel cojld wear a small m. He is 20 lbs but has small feet and skinny legs. My Basset Hound who is 37 lbs and my Chessie’s (one 96 lbs and one 112 lbs) all wear a size large.

Answer:	They do create a moisture - they are rubber - so the great part is that the dogs can still feel the ground so they don't mind wearing them but they will create moisture so they cannot wear for hours on end. If the ground is hot then it will give them a little bit of protection but not much because the rubber will eventually heat up. It will absolutely help on hot days. You can always put your fingers in them and see how long it takes before it feels too hot. Test it that way.

Answer:	Since there are made of rubber and don't breathe, I would not leave them on for an extended period of time. You can probably find some foot coverings in the pet store that are knitted of cotton, wool or polyester. These will breathe and protect the floors.
