You would install the AHD-BL25 180 camera with your DVR using coax cable such as RG59. Then, when you remotely connect to your DVR using the Amcrest software, you will be able to see the AHD-BL25 security camera. If you are asking if the Amcrest software can connect directly to the AHD-BL25 with a DVR, the answer is no. The AHD-BL25 must be connected to a DVR.

Answer: I don't know if there is an app or not but I bought 2 of these in September 2020 and one has quit working already. They work ok but the micro sd cards are hard to swap out with my old cold fingers.
