Answer:	I have examined the package closely and nowhere does it give any information as to place of manufacture. But it does say that the bag was printed in the USA. So the company has declined to provide the important info. Misdirection? Maybe. Probably.A warning about this product: it's cat candy. I use it as a treat. If you feed kibble free-choice your cat will likely spend a great deal of the day with his face in the bowl. Ergo: obese kitty. Also kibble has been blamed for kidney disease in cats since they do not have a strong sense of thirst and do not drink enough water to hydrate themselves and the dry food.

Answer:	Yes you can. When weening my kitten from milk to hard food that is exactly what I would do. warm his milk up very little and let the hard food soften a little. then we substituted with water instead of the cat milk. for your cat just use a little water.

Answer:	Chicken beak, feet, bones, guts (stuff like that), that's what chicken by-product is.
Question:	What's the difference saying it's for indoor cats? Same as others but saying it's different to make more money
Answer:	Indoor cats need more fiber and protein than outside cats! They don't have access to prey and things that would prevent hairballs. As for making more money...there are no preservatives so better quality ingredients are used.
Question:	Is this grain free
Answer:	The first ingredient is chicken-by-product meal (whatever that is). It is not grain-free. It contains corn meal, soy flour, and brewer's rice. Cats have no nutritional requirement for grain of any sort. They are just fillers. If you can afford it (we have 5 cats), find a grain-free product to feed your cat(s).

Answer:	I specialize in fostering pregnant cats and raise them and the kittens until they reach an adoptable age. Which by the way, is no earlier than 10 -12 weeks. Many studies show that kittens need to stay with their mom that long for them to be at their most confidant and best socialized for the rest of their life. Kittens should be feed true kitten food until they are at least 4 month old. I use Baby Cat by Royal Canin but there are other good kitten brands as well.

Question:	How many calories are in a serving of this food? How big is the serving
Answer:	The chicken variety is 366 calories per cup. A good size cat will eat ½ to 1 cup per day. Perhaps 200-300 calories on average. I would recommend a high protein/low carb food instead for feline weight loss. My cats seem to find high protein foods more satisfying but eat less of it overall. Physiologically, cats can't lose weight quickly in a safe manner, so it's probably best to make small reductions and weigh him frequently, then readjust.

Answer:	I would say how much do you use per month an amount of cats you feed.I have 7 cats with different diets.Plus biggest item is cost.I buy a lot when Amazon has it on sale. Wal Mart has a good deal on Friskies brand.I'm not paying an extra $25 per case like Amazon charges.This is $18 for product then shipping fee is $25 per case. I wait until there is no fee then buy large amounts of product.Last time I bought 2 cases each product which totaled 6 cases of 3 different flavors. Dry food if u can buy 16lb.bags an cat litter wait for sale then stock up.I hope this helps you out.

Maybe Amazon was selling it in the past in the 6 lb. size and did not change the photo for it. If this price is around what you paid, I have always received the 16 pound size and don't know of a 6 pound size being sold any longer.

Answer:	Hi Rekha, Sorry to say, Rachael Ray cat foods contain no probiotics. I have since upgraded to Zero Grains Whitefish Recipe, but I saved the label from the Salmon and Lentils Recipe to show my Vet, so I'm looking at it, and there are no probiotics. However, if this is important to you, Blue Buffalo Freedom Dry Cat food is loaded with probiotics. It's expensive, but well worth the price. It's too expensive for my budget with as many animals as I have, but you may be able to afford it. It really is a superior pet food. I used to use it, but cannot anymore. It is my understanding that ALL cat dry cat foods contain ash, sadly, cos ash contributes to urinary infections in males (primarily.) However, Richard, here's the good news, the premium, more expensive cat foods contain far less ash than the commercial, cheaper cat foods. So, it will be a wiser choice to feed your cats a more expensive dry food than cheaper brands. Believe me, Richard, you'll save on vet bills if you invest in a premium dry cat food for your feline babies. This WILL LOWER their ash intake. Thank you for asking.
