Answer:	Yes, it would. We use it for our rat terrier. Our current one is around 13#, and before her we had another that was about 18# that used one. They love it too since they can see out, and the sun hits it for warmth in the winter.

Answer:	You can turn the bed but I live in a cold climate and like the bolster to be against the cold window. I don't know if there would be anymore support for large cat.

Answer:	It lasted a couple months for my kitty (12lbs) before the Velcro came free from the sill. Our window sill is wood, so that may have played a part. I am considering stinger/wider Velcro before giving up. My cat absolutely loves it, and had a soft landing when it fell (3 times before I stopped trying).

Answer:	The minimum depth you need is 3 1/2 inches. That is the depth of my window sills and it just barely worked. If my sills were any shallower the brackets would not make contact with the wall below the window, reducing the perch's stability.

Question:	Can you order replacement mats (the bed part) for this? Mine has so much hair stuck to the bed part that I can't wash them anymore to get them clean
Answer:	Buy a silicone brush! I got mine from that company that sells natural cleaning products...Norex? I think? Best $20 bucks I ever spent! Spritz the fabric with a water spray bottle and then go to town with the brush! I use this on furniture and on blankets prior to washing to help get the extra hair off. Plus it will brush up the fibers on the material. Before I found that, I used my vacuum and a heavy-duty rubber glove with a spray water bottle (mist). Or buy a small cat bed if it's not too large & cut a hole & sew up/glue the edges where the filler is with a small piece of left-over material that you cut out. If that doesn't work, I suggest making one from an inexpensive throw blanket: cut slightly larger than size folded x2 to give yourself enough room to turn in the edges to tack down with fabric glue or hot glue (unless you sew). Also, cut your hole for jumping through-use that as a pattern for the filler. Add a cushion layer of fiberfill or old rags/clothes cut into pieces so it can be fluffed. Tack down 3 sides leaving one short side open to fill with your filling. If it is one thick layer, you will need to bend it to get it snuggled down in it correctly (like a pillow). Make sure your glue is completely set before trying to fill. Good Luck!

Answer:	The straps arent what I'd call cables but woven nylon 1" strapping folded in half. I have 6 cats and one is a chewer but he hasn't been interested is the support straps. I've seen as many as 3 cats on this window bed! They love it!

Step 1

Unpack your Kitty Sill. Holding the bottom platform (the one with no hole) with the suction cups already attached, gently push one suction cup against the window. Level the platform and gently push the second suction cup against the window. Lift the top platform (the one with the hole) to the desired level and push those suction cups against the window.

Step 2

With your fingers, push remaining air out of all suction cups to ensure a proper adhesion.

Step 3

Align each support strap to adhere the Push-n-Turn suction cups to the window, taking care to keep similar tension on each strap.

The 11" measurement is the height of the entire window basket, including the edge of the bottom suction cup. Answer:	I don't know but this is a VERY narrow bed. I plopped my 10-lb cat in it and she sat there like she didn't know what else to do. Even my little cat didn't like it, and I couldn't keep it stuck on the window despite cleaning it. In theory it's a great idea, but because it's so narrow, it's even hard for them to jump up into it.

Question:	Can you use the K&H bed warmer with this
Answer:	I hope you are having some luck. I am having the same problem. I think this seat is genius and the cats love it. I ordered 2 seats and only have had them for 3 days. Between the 2 seats, the suctions have popped off 3 times, while a cat was laying on them. Only the bottom suctions pop off. The top are fine. And they pop off one at a time to give the cat a chance to react, but this is still upsetting for me. I no longer trust the seat as is, but have been researching how to enhance the suction. The ideas below to soak the cups for 5 minutes in warm water, clean with rubbing alcohol, and wet the suction before sticking seem a good idea. I found additional tips to use a thin bead of denture adhesive in a complete circle. Another person used hair gel and said it worked. Someone else used packing tape on their shower to make a smooth surface. We shouldn't need to do that since glass is smooth. But I wonder if the tape would be a better surface somehow. (The tape has to be a bigger square so that the circle suction fits neatly inside the perimeter since the suction will have to be air tight and not over a seam.) My hubby thinks this happens because the window heats and cools. I just find it weird that most people don't have this problem then. Why us? hmmmm. I did clean the window immediately before adhering, but maybe I need to use cleaner again, and follow with vinegar, then rubbing alcohol to really make sure it's squeaky clean. I'm willing to fight this war awhile. It's a cool product but the cats' safety and restfulness is obviously priority for me. Have any of the tips you've already tried worked for you?

Answer:	Will they hold up? I think they would for a bit but not sure how long. Another item to take into consideration is that they are not regular strings but instead made of plastic. My cats are also chewers but after one or two chomps they gave up on these because I assume it was a texture they did not like.

Answer:	THIS WILL WORK. I've had mine 4 years so far. However, there are critical factors to application process which affect whether it will stick and for how long. I/my cats absolutely love mine and I was actually online ordering more when I saw these questions/comments. In the processes of taking down to wash canvas or move to different windows, etc., below are things I learned along the way. (Please bear with long explanation. I just want everyone/their kitties to enjoy it as much as we have.) #1. Both the window and suctions cups must be EXTREMELY clean. The tiniest amount of dirt or slightest bit of oil from our skin can affect whether it'll stay stuck on the window. #2. Position suction cups exactly where you want before sticking them to window, especially the top two. If you keep moving around, oils in skin can transfer to window or suction cup, which can affect how long the seat will stick in the window. #3. Temperature of window and the humidity outside when you apply suction cups can definitely affect whether or not it'll stay on. If it's summer and you live somewhere humid like me, wait until night when it's typically not as hot/humid and make absolutely sure you keep window dry while you're applying suction cups. Also, if window is extremely cold when you hang it, that can also affect whether or not it will stay stuck long term. #4. Position of the top two suction cups/distance to the seat is EXTREMELY important because it determines the amount of slack in the strings. I'm certainly NOT a physicist or engineer, but this is a key element in being able to support the weight of a cat without falling down (and also how long seat will stay stuck). Therefore, if there is too much slack in the strings, it will fall when heavy cats jump on. If strings are super tight and there is absolutely zero slack left in them, one or both of top suction cups will pop off when heavy cat jumps on. Ideally, the strings should have a tiny bit of slack, just enough that the strings still appear completely straight in angle from suction cups down to the seat. Again, I'm no subject matter expert. Question:	What is the length of the space between the brakets
Answer:	I’m not sure! Honestly I haven’t had a reason to replace the cover it’s that good of quality! It all depends on your upkeep tho too! I have 2 Ferrets they are free roaming& they 💗 the kitty mount! The cover is super easy to wash on gentle& I hang dry it ALSO I also every 2 weeks make sure that I spray a PET SAFE fabric spray that kills fleas, flea larva, ticks, ants & spiders.! I bought a little $6 fuzzy blanket in the Cat section @petco my ferrets love to snuggle up & watch the birdies!
Question:	Is the birch/gray combination available
Answer:	It is very easy to detach and reattach at a different window or location. None of it is permanently attached to any wall or window portion. I've detached mine a few times for cleaning or to position in a better location for my cat.

1. Attach the left and right side connectors to the two base rods

2. Pull the cables completely through the designated front holes on the seat cover and slide the cover over the base

3. Insert two suction cups on the ends of the cat lounge seat

4. With the two remaining suction cups, insert the toggle through the holes of the suction cup

5. Press and hold the bottom suction cups securely onto your cleaned surface and make sure they are level. Extend the left cord upwards at the desired height, ensuring it is taut and press on the suction cup, repeat with the right cord.
