Answer:	Dimmer will control 300 watt dimmable LEDs if the AR111s you have are dimmable 120V 12Watt lights then switch should be OK as 12 lights would be ~144 Watts
Question:	We were trying to connect this switch, the light is on but the dimmer is not working, its a single pole, what am I missing
Answer:	You need to be using "dimmable" bulbs, either incandescent or LED, but not fluorescent. If you are using dimmable incandescent or LED bulbs, I believe there is a slider control (switch) somewhere on this switch to choose either incandescent or LED. That needs to match your bulb type.
Question:	I installed the switch as well as dimmable led bulbs. they work on the dim setting but they blink from half all the way to full power, any ideas
Answer:	I've had similar issues and took it up with Leviton on their website. They initially just asked me to send it back to them, but I stopped short stating that I didn't particularly want to "finance" that. So they did send me a replacement unit and a prepaid shipping label. The replacement one is "better", but sometimes it still goes into flicker or as I call it "spazz" mode. They have asked me for the exact bulbs I'm using (Ecosmart Classic Glass Bulbs from Home Depot) but nothing further from them. I use those same bulbs in (2) other fixtures with Lutron LED dimmers (Model# TGCL-153PH-WH and Model# CTCL-153PR-WH) and they both have worked flawlessly for about a year. Never a single flicker. Bob
Question:	Where is the locator light
Answer:	Mine has a green LED at the top of the toggle switch. It is almost impossible to see in the light, but when the room is dark, it is visible without being disturbing. It comes defaulted to OFF. There are two micro switches on the front of the switch, which are hidden once that switch plate is put on. The top switch has an A and B position. A (the default) is for LED and incandescent lights. B is for CFC bulbs. A second switch, lower down, is for the locator light. Set the switch to ON if you want to use the light. Set these switches before you put on the switch plate because the plate covers these switches.

Answer:	Yes, if the LED can be dimmed. This is a very smooth operating dimmer. When you slide it to the lowest brilliance of the LED, the slide encounters the very slightest barrier which you have to push a bit further to actually turn off the bulb. If you don't slide to the very end, the LED just remains at very low brilliance!

Question:	do I need two of these switches in a 3-way application or can I use one dimmer with a normal 3-way on the other end
Answer:	Lutron does not recommend two AYCL-153P-WH dimmers in 3-way application. The second location would need to be a standard 3-way mechanical switch.
Question:	Can you fit three of these switches side by side in a standard 3 gang box
Answer:	The switch generates heat so it has tabs on both sides to prevent you from mounting them side by side without being aware that you have to "derate" them if you want to install them side be side. In other words, you can put 600 watts of incandescent bulbs on one dimmer if you mount it alone but only 500 watts of incandescent on a dimmer with one side tab removed (you remove only the tab(s) that overlap) and only 400 watts load with both tabs removed (as you would do mounting 3 switches in a standard 3 gang box). They also include a chart for derating when you mix CFL/LED bulbs with incandescent.

Answer:	I was wondering this exact same question, so I called Lutron and learned that they're the exact same switch. The model numbers differ because they're marketed/sold differently (e.g. Home Depot vs. other stores). So, if you find one cheaper than another, as I've done here on Amazon, buy the less expensive one!

Question:	I plan on using this with a track lighting kit that uses dimmable leds. do i need anything (transformer?) between this switch and the track fixture
Answer:	It would depend on the rack light system you use. If it uses 120v lamps then no. if it is a lower voltage lamp system it would have its own transformer as part of its installation and this dimmer is probably not what you need. You would then want a dimmer designed for low voltage applications. As far as I know though there is no hard and fast rule on this today as all the dimmers and transformers are electronic and may or may not be compatible with other electronic devices including the led drivers fjord the particular lamps in the track system you select. You should consult with the dealer you ate purchasing from and the installing electrician. If you ate doing it yourself you'll need do your research through the manufacturers of the equipment for comparability like the electrician would.
Question:	What size bulb can be used with this dimmer? There seem to be all kinds of size bulbs available
Answer:	That's right in the description: 150 watts LED / CFL, 600 watts incandescent. Just add the power requirements of all the bulbs controlled by the dimmer. For example, I'm using it to control 4 60 watt incandescent bulbs, total 240 watts. For LEDs / CFLs, use the actual power required, not the "equivalency". So a 23-watt CFL that says it's as bright as a 100 watt incandescent still only counts as 23 watts.
Question:	difference in led and incandescent lighting dimmers
Answer:	Some incandescent dimmers modify the output of the power in such a way that it either won't work at all or can damage the LED dimmer. LED dimmers I believe use finer PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) which will work with all dimming bulbs - incandescent, CFL, and LED bulbs. Using LED bulbs with a non-LED dimmer is a bad thing as is using LEDs that are not designed to be dimmed at all. The payback for the additional expense of the LED dimmer is pretty quick if it removes a large enough incandescent light bulb.
Question:	Led dimmable bulb is flickering with this switch, is it bad
Answer:	Problem: Flickering or FlashingPossible Cause #1: Incorrect VoltageLED downlights have a specified input voltage. Incorrect voltage to the driver can cause the LED to flicker or toflash on and off. * Check the input voltage of the driver (Ex: 120V) then check the voltage being delivered to the fixture (Ex: 277V). There may be a mismatch. If possible, replace the driver on the downlight for one with the correct input voltage to match the line voltage or, if that is not an option, install an applicable voltage transformer to the line voltage to achieve the required input voltage for the original fixture.Possible Cause #2: Incompatible DimmerIf the LED downlight was not designed for a particular dimming load or if the driver is not compatible with thedimming control then issues may occur. * Try bypassing the dimming circuit. Answer:	Yes, this is also an on/off switch, slide it all the way up to full bright and slide it all the way down to turn off the light

Answer:	Very simple device. You plug it in then you plug a lamp or something like that into it's plugin. Then you can control your lamp. It's really quite simple.
Question:	From the reviews, it sounds like this dimmer doesn't have the "buzz" that some do with LED bulbs. Anyone know if it is as quiet with an incandescent bulb
Answer:	It creates a noticeable 120Hz buzz when used with Sylvania 25W Dimmable "Night Chaser" lamps: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DPDVHMM . It is completely silent when used with CRLight 12W Dimmable "Antique ST64" lamps: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F322C39 but has almost a 1-second lag.
Question:	How dim will it go
Answer:	We tried to use this to dim to a night light. It was not that dim for LED. The infosheet for a similar product from LUTRON says 300 W should not be used for LED (http://pdf.lowes.com/operatingguides/027557390811_oper.pdf). Question:	How do I wire this with no ground
Answer:	Note 4 of the installation instructions states: When no "grounding means" exist in wallbox, the 2011 NEC allows a control to be installed as a replacement if 1) a nonmetallic ,noncombustible faceplate is used with nonmetallic attachment screws or 2) the circuit is protected by a GFCI. When installing a control according to these methods, cap or remove green wire before screwing control into wallbox.
Question:	So I have two can light led’s wired to a 2 toggle switch plate, can I remove the light receptacle and replace with this to dim the lights
Answer:	As long as the LEDs you are using are compatible with this dimmer, then yes it will work properly for your application. For more information on compatible LED lamps, Lutron would reccomed checking out their LED tool at Lutron.com/ledfinder.
Question:	Can i use 2 of these to dim from either location on a 3way (currently an old skylark and an on/off switch)? or do i need a maestro setup
Answer:	On 3-way circuits, only one ELECTRO-MECHANICAL switch can be a dimmer regardless of lamp type, other switch must be standard single-pole 3-way on/off. You CAN use DIGITAL ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEM (ie: MAESTRO) for all switches on circuit. Skylark SCL-153P dimmer is "electronic" but it is not a CONTROL SYSTEM that encompasses the whole circuit.
Question:	Can this dim incandescent and LED bulbs on the same circuit
Answer:	Yes- the issue is that the bulbs are very different and as a result will not dim uniformly so when dimmed one may be brighter

Question:	Is anyone using this with an LED and if so, for how long and how is it working? Thanks
Answer:	I'm using this with two 12.5W Soraa High-CRI "Vivid" series LED PAR30 4000K bulbs (total controlled load: 25W) and it is the finest dimmer switch I've ever used. With the "Advanced mode" custom programming (Technical document: www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocumentLibrary/048459.pdf) to adjust the "low trim" (dimmest point) I can get these bulbs to be on and stable at only
Question:	Can this handle dimming LED lights all the way down so they are actually dim, like the incandescents? Yes, I have an LED light bulb that is dimmable
Answer:	I have the Wafer 6 in. White Integrated LED Recessed Kit that Home Depot sells. They say they can go down to 10%.. I had another switch in previously that the lights wouldn't dim down as far and would turn off randomly when dimmed down all the way. If you use the adjustment feature in this switch it seems like they go down to that no problem. I've been running them for a day and no flickering or turning off. If anything changes I'll leave an updated comment or update this answer. Two factors you'll need to look at: 1) what is the LED bulb rated to go down to 2) Is this dimmer compatible? If your LED bulb says it can do it try many different dimmers until one works :)

Answer:	I used it in two cases for household behind a 12v 30 and 60 amp power supplies, respectively. I see no reason why it wouldn't work in your case. It's just a simple rheostat.

Answer:	It is for a single circuit. Single positive and negative input and single positive and negative output.
Question:	why does this dimmer make the led driver ring with a high pitch sound, almost like a dog whistle? Annoying
Answer:	I really don't know the answer, but my first thought was that you were trying to dim an LED that is not designed to be dimmed.
