Answer:	Yes your fur baby should fit however I do so wish there was more stuffing on the bottom of this bed so it would be thicker!!

Answer:	I have machine washed it and found it held up very well. Drying it however does take a bit longer than an average bath towel or since I live in Florida, I dry it for 30 minutes in my dryer to make it fluffy then take it outside to the patio table in the sun and let it sit for a bit longer. My fur baby loves it!!
