Answer:	Yes, the lower bar on my mower varies the speed of the rear wheels. It is NOT all or none.

Answer:	Yes, the new mower should have bottle of oil (SAE 30 or SAE 10W-30 detergent oil) in the box. You will need to add the oil prior to first use. Regarding fuel, for best results, use only clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher ((R+M)/2 rating method) containing no more than 10% ethanol. Question:	One of the reviews says that you can't back up the mower. Is this true
Answer:	This is true for me. The rear wheels do not turn backwards and that is, of course, with the self propel feature disengaged. I have to drag it and it’s a heavy mower

Question:	Does it crank easy
Answer:	The first is the hardest. Just make sure you pull the cord and attach it to the handle arm. Yank several times without letting it stop turning over. After it starts it will be easier to start after that.
Question:	Can you control the engine speed
Answer:	No you can not. Its pretty loud too and the part to control the grass from flying out is very poorly sat on it and i had to bungy cord it up so the grass flies out if you use it as a mulcher it boogs out and turns off so you have to almost have the grass fly out the side. Its a good mower though otherwise the gas tank is pretty small but i havent had any issue with it so far and ive had it for a little over a month and use it once or twice a week and its never failed me yet. Im happy with it there are things that could be better but all and all its really not too bad. Hope this helps.

Answer:	We returned ours after the first use . The handle broke on it
Question:	will bolts mounted in plastic hold the handle on powersmart mowers if amazon says take a replacement i may not want too my handle broke in 1 hour
Answer:	No they won't hold. I used mine twice and not vigorously and the nuts holding the handle in place pulled through. Very disappointing!

Answer:	Even on the lowest setting it probably wouldn't hit the paver, or limestone stepping stones. I'm thinking it only goes to about 1.5 to 2 inch height. I can tell you this. It is very sharp and will probably cut clover as good as if not better than grass. I love this model of the Fiskars reel mower. It has the front shield which pushed back the bushes and the like so you can get up close to things. It's very light and easy to maneuver. It DOES take about 20% more effort to push than a regular gas mower, but, at my age(50+), I think it is a good workout and saves on gas and you emit no noise and/or air pollution, so I think it's a good thing to have. One thing that you will have to be careful of is to never let the reel nick the curb edge, or edging as you spoke of as it will dull that portion of the blades. If you shop around on Amazon, you can find a good deal on these. Prices varied a lot. Hope this helps
Question:	Is this made in the USA
Answer:	The blades spin in the forward direction only, however they continue spinning as you pull the mower back continuing to cut. If your lawn is long it may take more than one pass to fully cut it, so I recommend mowing regularly for ease of cut.
