Answer:	The opening on our Kintor feeder is 4-1/4" x 4-1/4". Where the top joins the bottom, the width is a hair larger, approximately 4-1/2". The feeder opening on our cage is 3" x 4-5/8", and the Kintor easily covers it. The bars on our cage are horizontal, so it was easy to 'fit' the feeder to the cage. The weight of the feeder as it hangs from its hooks keeps it against the side of the cage. Hope this helps.
Question:	What size is best for an Indian ring neck parakeet? Small or medium
Answer:	Yes, actually you can mount this on the inside of a cage. Two slots are provided on the top back corners of the feeder for placement of the metal hooks--just like the slots are on the front top corners. Slide the hooks out of the front slots, and slide them in the back ones, and the feeder may be mounted inside the cage. You may need to install a perch in the cage near the front of the feeder so the bird can easily step inside.

Answer:	This feeder is large enough that doves would be able to land on it, however; doves often prefer to feed from platform feeders.

Answer:	I have a squirrel baffle on top of mine, and that keeps a lot of the rain out. Also, I don’t automatically fill it all the way; I monitor how much seed I put in according to the number of birds around, so that the seed is never in there too long. A couple of times there has been mold in the tray after a really wet period — I just spoon it out.

Answer:	They don't eat through the holes. The feed falls to the tray at the bottom. The birds perch on the edge of the tray and eat there. I'm not familiar with millet, so I'm not sure how it would work alone, but it handles mixed seeds just fine

Answer:	No. The seeds get wet and if you don't have activity they will mold and clog the base of the feeder where the seeds are fed. You have to clean out the eating trays occasionally as the birds do not seem to eat all the seeds (picky.) They are great feeders and indestructible. I have a pile of broken plastic ones. I would buy again.

Answer:	Well if your talking about a hook where you hang the bird feeder on the hook, then that’s what we have and it has been working since day one the squirrels cannot get up the pole they have become our bottom ground feeders now. Answer:	Yes it seems to, I have what's called a Midwestern mix in it. That includes some sunflower seeds and small almonds and it works! But some of the sunflower seeds sold for human consumption are a little larger than what comes in a 'bird seed mix'.

Answer:	That would seem to be a matter of personal preference. It's a great product that I would use if were any color - We have a camera on ours and it has defeated every Raccoon and Squirrel that has come by to the point they have quit trying. It was fun to watch. Suppose you could easily paint it with any can of spray paint you have on-hand?

Answer:	I think it will fit any size diameter pole, but on the height placement, it says to mount 4' to 5' above the ground, and my bird feeders would have hit the item had I mounted it that high, since my pole is only about 5' high. So I sent it back.
