Answer:	They work on my Dewalt hook and loop sander very well. Used with a vacation, it picks up more fine dust than with sandpaper.

Answer:	Mine showed up the same way - Clayton branded box, NSN 20201012. Back side of disks are printed “Mirka Abranet P320”. Disks visually appear to be the real thing and physically feel like the real thing. No other packaging inside the Clayton box or inside the Amazon bag. I almost returned mine before reading this about non-OEM packaging.

will this fit on a 3/4" shaft

Answer:

Yes, it will work. It comes with a bushing to fit a five-eights arbor. Make sure the disc isn't touching the gaurd before turning on your tool. If it does touch, remove the gaurd. These tools can be dangerous, use a full face mask, clamp your wood firmly to a stable surface, and hold the grinder firmly with two hands. It's a great tool once you get used to it. I prefer these to the expensive arbortech planers.

Question:	Are these more like sandpaper or Brillo pads
Answer:	Might be too much. These disks are very aggressive. Unless you want to re-shape the piece I'd try using sanding mop disks--coarse, medium and fine. They conform to the contours to clean up the piece whilel not altering it's original shape(unless you hang in one spot). It would take a very precise light touch not to alter the contours with the Kutzall.

Answer:	These are sanding discs, and not meant for cutting.

Answer:	I have used mine in a cordless drill and it works but not as well as a pneumatic air gun or a high RPM cordless like Snap-on or DeWalt make.

Answer:	The grit sizes are marked but sometimes printed on an edge or under the roloc plastic. The surface prep discs are distinguished by color and texture.

Answer:	thank you for the question. When using a fiber disc 60 grit and coarser we suggest a rubber back up pad. Spiralcool Backing Pad is the manufacturer that we sell. if you are using a 4-1/2" grinder the part number is R425-R the pad has a 5/8" threaded center hole. The locking nut which holds the disc in place is SP-103. Spiralcool Backing Pad also offers a backing pad with a 5/8" center hole that is a smooth bore part number R425-5/8SB also using the same locking nut SP-103. Why the difference? Length of the spindle on the tool. also does the tool have the backing flange still on it. Our experience is that we sell more of the R425-5/8SB. If it is a Dewalt grinder they offer part number DW4945 which is the rubber backing pad and lock nut. Metabo also offers a 4-1/2" pad part number 6.23283 which is a little more flexibleand works great on 80 grit or finer discs. Please let me know what manufacturer of the grinder and is it electric or pneumatic and we can provide the proper backing pad.
