Answer:	I have used both for my green cheek conure, with no visible difference in her reaction to the vitamin or her health. I originally had some of the Vita Drops for small birds for my parakeets, however they both were elderly and eventually passed away. Not wanting to waste the vitamin drops, I used the bottle up on my Conure. She is back to the large bird drops, simply because I also have a parrot and it is easier to share the one item. Answer:	no, it is not clear like water. it is a yellow liquid which makes dispensing much easier even in low light conditions I feed my bird in the early morning and use three drops, each one plops in the water but the liquid deserves and turns it on off, light yellow color overall. there is a slight odor that is non evasive to the nostrils but this means these are nutrients from the drops and they pack a walloping punch for canary health.

Two or three times a day. Probably 5 drops of ION in canary water. 1 squirt silver in the mouth.

Regarding the fat content and how long you should dose, I’d ask an aviary vet but they are careful not to comment on the use of non-licensed products.

Answer:	This formula does alter the color of the water. If you follow the manufacturers recommendation, the water will turn a pale yellow. We used a little more and the water was just a bit more yellow. The color of the formula varies with each lot and may be a little darker. It also gets darker as it ages in the bottle. Answer:	I only put one small drop in the water bowl each day and I don’t notice an odor, nor does the bird seem to act any differently about his water. If you take the lid off, there is a concentrated odor inside, but I never take the lid off.

Question:	Did anyone else notice that this product is called "Avian Formula for Dogs
Answer:	It has been several months ago that I ordered this product for my English Budgies. The package I got definitely says "avian". If you do a search "missing link for birds", this product shows up. If you do a search for "missing link for dogs" this product DOES NOT show up. I'm not sure why Amazon has the incorrect description on the heading, but this is not the first time that I have come across this problem. Now that you have brought it to their attention, maybe they will correct the heading. Missing Link started out making a supplement for dogs, and all their products are similar (if you look on their website). The Avian formula has soy bean added with the basic formula containing meat products. I have talked to some breeders who feed meat and fish to their Budgies but in my research, most do not. My birds did not seem to like this product. With birds, they are definitely difficult to get to try new things. Birds like what they were fed by their mothers when they were babies and if the breeder did not offer food similar to this, they may not take to it even if it is good for them.

My blue crown conures vet - Dr. Rutowski recommended it because it helps with what they lack in the wild. My bird is an older bird 26 years old. Answer:	It doesn't contain calcium. What I do is get a mineral + calcium block and crush it into powder. When I get my bird food I add the Missing Link and powder to the food and mix before I put in storage containers. That way I know that they are getting the omega and calcium. My one bird had a fatty liver problem at one time and the combination seems to have made it better. The birds feathers and energy level is fantastic.

Answer:	I would imagine it would work for any type of bird poop. I know people say it works for their parrots, and it works great for my songbirds as well. It's still bird poop!

Answer:	This enzyme works quite well. We have also tested it against bleach. The longer the droppings have dried, the longer you need to let the enzyme sit. If used daily, one minute is sufficient. However, if you clean once a week then yes, you will need to wait much longer. Also, using too high of a bleach mixture is harmful to your birds (chlorine is poisonous) and chlorine will destroy your cage coating and anything else it touches.
Question:	Do I need to remove my birds from their cage for cleaning using this product
Answer:	It says it is safe for use around the birds. Mine is in a rather large cage and he ventures in and out while I am cleaning as he likes to explore and see what I am doing. I am careful not to spray it in his direction, often time spraying directly onto a paper towel. I think you can feel safe with it but I would advise not spraying it towards the bird(s) and I would remove food and water prior as well. It is a great product. Cleans great and the smell is light and not overpowering. I will never do without it.

Answer:	i don't see why not---with a nylon brush. i don't know if you mean the type that is for river rafting or theblow-up type for the unwanted overnight guest. warmer water really helps the rinse. hope this helps.
