Answer:	I’ve had ours since January and it is in perfect condition. Our cockatiel uses it as her sleeping perch.

Answer:	It depends on the bar spacing of your specific cage but I believe so. It's a smaller diameter screw but stays in place well even on vertical bars when tightened. I have this for my cockatiel & it's his favorite perch. Mine too honestly, it's a fantastic perch!

Answer:	Actually, No, unless you can make some type of brace that you can screw into the wall and sit the perch on that. It is made with two wing type nuts on one end and has large washers so it can be tightened between the wires of a cage.

Answer:	The wire tie? If you are talking about the hook at the top? That is so you can hang it at the top of the cage. If your talking about whats inside the rope- no it is what gives it shape.

Answer:	What do you mean by healthy? They are thick wood and I washed them and everything in the cage 1 x per week, including wiping the cage down inside and out with vinegar water. I also bought other perches that were wrapped with sandy material all around the cage for my cockateil.

Answer:	The food can be mixed with seed to add variety to the Parakeet’s diet.

Answer:	Yes. The yellow and I think the red ones are larger pellets. There are blue and red ones that are small pellets (think parakeet sized). My love bird eats only the yellow ones for some reason.
