Answer:	Yes, if using 1-1/2" or larger hoses/fittings. It is recommended that filter systems should filter all water in the pool within 8 hours. A thirty foot round pool x 4 foot deep is 21,150 gallons. This filter systems operates at 50 gallon per minute resulting in a 7 hour time to filter all water in the pool. The 50 gpm flow rate is based on all hoses and fittings being 1-1/2" diameter or larger - an 1-1/4" hose or fitting will restrict flow and possibly damage the filter or pump. A larger system would probably require 2" hoses/fittings.

Answer:	I think it should be just fine but you can call the manufacturer's customer service at 1-866-616-1270 for more info. My pump did not come with hoses but I was fortunate enough that the pool installer had some hoses and he was able to get it all together and it runs great as long as you maintain it properly. Also, while I am at i want to share with you the chemicals i use weekly, Algaecide and clarifier (1/2 gallon each week with shock) . Keeps the pool really nice and clean. Good Luck!

Answer:	It can be put on by one person but much easier with two. I put it on myself by fastening two points on the trailing side/end, then pulling one side across at a tine until it covered the pool cover. Then I ran the edge wire around and tightened it down.

Answer:	This is a net cover, its full of holes. If your asking how your cover drains, you need to put a pillow (blown up) in the center, this creates a rise so the water runs to the outside where you can pump it or siphon it out after rains.

Answer:	I’m using it on a 12 foot round and have a foot overhang. I don’t think it will cover a 16 foot pool

I have owned above ground pools since 1978. The seller of the first pool I purchased said not to use a pillow. He said it raises the cover out of the pool and expose it to the sun and wears it out. I took his advice and never used a pillow. I am on my second above-ground pool installed 1998. I have had many pool covers over the years and the majority of them wear out within about 3-5 years. I have had many types expensive 20 year warranty and cheaper ones. They all last about the same 3-5 years. I live in Southwest Ohio and have a 28 foot diameter pool. I have had this cover for about 2 years and so far it shows no wear. I purchased a leave cover a few years ago and put the leaf cover the solid cover. I helps hold the solid down during winds. When I get a nice sunny day in the first three months I take the leaf cover off and empty the leaves and sometimes I put it back on to hold it down during the Spring rains. During the winters I siphon the water off by using garden hoses. I have done this procedure for the past 5 years. I would provably purchase this cover again. My neighbor uses a pillow but he has only had a pool for about three years. He tries to secure the pillow but it come loose and floats to one side. I see this year he is not using a pillow. You are welcome to try my way or keep fighting with the pillow. Your choice. Wish you well.

Answer:	This is a self priming pump. My pump is located about 30 ft from my skimmer and two ft rise with no problem priming.

Answer:	I do believe so, I talked to my local pump repair shop owner and he had high praise for the Harris brand, also said that the parts were readily available. I hope I don't have to use any of them for a few years at least! So far the pump is on par with the Hayward pump that it replaced at more than half the price of the Hayward pump.
