Answer:	Hello, In order to correctly utilize the straps provided and receive the most benefit from using the brace, you will take the straps and wrap them over the top of the foot (the left strap is wrapped to the right and the right strap is wrapped to the left- similar to if you were beginning the process of tying your shoelaces). The straps are then wrapped behind the Achilles tendon (to cross once more) and are then attached to the velcro portion of the strap that is still exposed. The straps should be adjusted to provide comfort and firm support. Answer:	We do not recommend wearing this to swim in, however, there are some people that do. If so, be sure to wash all of the salt water or chlorine out of it, and lay it flat to dry.

Answer:	Definitely not neoprene. I don't believe there's any latex either. It's made of a super grippy elastic knit fabric. It's a great brace, the most comfortable and supportive I've tried. I was in a full foot to knee boot for 6 weeks, this brace is better in every way. The strap under the arch is genius.

Answer:	I haven’t found the compression to be too much. You can control it based on how tightly you adjust the Velcro strap - just make sure you measure so that you buy the right size.
