Enough Water Flow(Check your Pump)

for this heater the important thing need to make sure enough water flow,suggest the pump not less than 200 wat (3600 L/ h), enough flow to turn on

flow switch "TRIPS" and when the flow decreases to NOT enough it shuts the heater down. That way if for some reason the flow is too slow it will not over heat the unit and it will not even work at all till the flows correct.

Correct Installation Direction

Make sure the mount direction is correct, there is a arrow direction shows the water inlet and outlet marked on the heater, wrong direction will not make the heater work.

Answer:	There is no adjustment -the heater is automatically "on" when the water is being circulated. Works very well in keeping the water temperature about right. If water temp gets too high for comfort-not our experience- you can just shut off the circulating pump.

Answer:	Most wiring in a home or outlet is rated for 15-20 amps. So is your wiring. You can add a sub panel box and have 15A and 15A, upsizing your wiring to said box along with bigger breaker 30-40amp breaker. High load circuits require their own dedicated breaker, so if it uses more Amps than the product is rated the breaker turns off preventing any property damage or worse, a fire. It is best to call a licensed electrician, just because you upsize your breaker does not mean the wiring is meant for a bigger load.

Normal Operation:

The operation of the fit for thermostat is fully automatic. When installed properly it will turn ON after user have set the temperature by turning the controlling switch clockwise, then the heating-up indicator turns on. As long as the fit for thermostat is on, it will heat up the water to the user-set level and maintain the temperature. User can turn the controlling switch anticlockwise to a temperature lower than the current water temperature to turn OFF the fit for thermostat, and the heating-up indicator turns off. There is no separate heat controller for user.

1. Check the circulation system first before turn on the heater

2. Never disassemble the heater when connecting to power supply

3. Never turn on the heater without water

4. No power switch is designed for the heater. The front panel switch can only turn off the controller, thus you should cut off the main power supply before performing maintenance or repair

5. Proper grounding is important

Question:	Can I just buy the Gasket if so what are the part numbers
Answer:	There are several sizes and types of igniter. I first bought a generic one that did not work in my heater. I even changed the mounting bracket and enlarged the hole to make it fit. Then I broke down and paid a few bucks more for the same brand as my heater and compared the two igniters. The electrical reading were not the same. SO I filled in the hole that was now too large and everything is working fine. Bottom line - I'd buy a factory same brand part.
Question:	Does this come with gaskets required for installation
Answer:	This one IS flat. You need Pentair part # 472604. That is a direct manufacturers replacement for your current igniter. I do not believe this one will work or even if it does, for very long or without voiding your warranty. (Should be 3 years if installed by a qualified pool man like me) 👍
Question:	Can I just buy the Gasket
Answer:	I had to purchase the EXACT part number to gt my heater to work. There are physical differences between various igniters as well as electrical variations. I bought a "universal" replacement part, re-drilled the mounting hole and messed around for several hours before giving up and ordering the exact replacement. And I'm an electrical engineer.
