Question:	Can this pan be used in an Air Fryer
Answer:	Theoretically yes since an air fryer has a max temperature of 230 C or 445 F and the non stick coating on the pan can handle that. The geometry of the pan however may interfere with even cooking(frying) since it is rather narrow and deep for its length. An air fryer relies on the food being exposed to a super heated aerosol of small fat droplets circulated by a fan (much like a convection oven and an even "fry" may be difficult. A more open pan with lower sides would be more suitable such as a cake pan.
Question:	Do you need to increase your bread dough recipe to use this pan? My recipe calls for 3 cups of flour and fills an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 pan
Answer:	First, you'll love the pan because others make for slices of bread that are too large, in my opinion. As to recipe, my best guess is that a recipe reduced to 2 cups of bread flour would be about right. My basis is that I use 4-1/2 cups total of flour/oats for two Norpro 12" pans, where I use a breadmaker on dough setting. Each loaf is over a pound. Two loaves each cut in half with three halves to the freezer is just right for me - single guy.
Question:	What are inside measurements? I need 4 x
Answer:	Top Measures 8" x 4.5" x 3", Bottom Measures 6 ¾" x 3 ¼"
Question:	Will this pan rust
Answer:	Yes, I made the mistake of putting mine in the dishwasher...the bottom of the pan has NORPRO stamped into it, and rust spots developed in the lettering! Total pain to clean out, would not buy this again.

Question:	how many cups of batter would this fit
Answer:	If you are making a quick bread, you will have a batter consistency and the recipe will indicate the pan size for optimum results. When making yeast bread the size of the pan is determined by the amount of flour called for in the recipe. For example, a pan measuring 8 1/2" X 4 1/2" is used for a recipe calling for 3 to 3 1/2 cups of flour. A pan measuring 10" X 5" will be used for a recipe calling for 4 - 5 cups of flour. Using the wrong pan will affect the baking time and you many not get the results you had hoped for. This is an excellent brand of bread pans. I hope this helps you.
Question:	Is this loaf pan good for quick breads like banana bread? Or is it better for a leavened dough
Answer:	I've made quick breads and yeast breads in this pan. It's perfect for either. I'm a baker by profession and I don't use any other pans. USA Bakeware!

Answer:	Yes it is. It was at one time only sold to commercial kitchens. It is made of professional weight steel will not buckle or warp. I love them.
Question:	Why is my pound cake sticking to the bottom even after I greased and floured the pan
Answer:	You can cut parchment paper and use it so it lays flat on the bottom and then leave some paper sticking out so you can pull it out. You would leave the flaps on the longer side so that it holds. You will still have to grease or spray the pan with butter or nonstick spray and then put the parchment but it’s a really easy trick and you can take the bread out and leave it on a cooling rack immediately after it’s out the oven. Question:	Is the bread pan ptfe, pfoa and bpa free? many thanks
Answer:	I didn't read that on there anywhere. However, I found that their uncoated metal pan actually had better nonstick qualities. This coating scratches easily- and within a few bakes, it is no longer nonstick. The uncoated are far superior. I'm a home based baker, making bread for my customers every week.
Question:	how deep is this pan
Answer:	This pan's exterior dimensions are 4"x8" at its base, and 5"x9" at its top, meaning that it has sloped sides, and is not a true square pan. The interior depth of the pan as measured is slightly less than 2.75" (two and three quarters inch). I bought two of these pans, and am quite satisfied with them, although I've gone to a similar size Pullman loaf pan as my weekly bread making pan. Although these pans are non-stick, I would still recommend wiping them with a non-stick spray prior to use, and I also only hand wash them, to protect the non-stick coating from harsh dishwasher detergents. I also store them stacked one inside the other, with a paper towel between to prevent scratching. Hope this helps!

Answer:	The corrugated one has a non-stick coating and the smooth does not. I have both kinds of pans from this manufacturer. Both are excellent quality and very durable. As to which one is better, it just depends on your preference. I like the smooth one for cakes and macaroni and cheese and the corrugated one for sticky breads or rolls. Hope this helps.

Answer:	There is no recycle emblem on the pan.
Question:	what is the maximum temperature for this pan - i.e. can I use it on the grill at 500-600f
Answer:	The instructions for pan use & care read "Do not exceed a baking temperature of 450 F degrees."

Answer:	I don't have the sheet that came with the pan but it said made in US.
