Answer:	I don’t know what glued on band means. These filters were identical to my OEM filters.

Question:	How long do filters last
Answer:	I rinse them out regularly and change it no less than once a year, but if I have water problems and have to use different chemicals, I will change it after 6mos. It is really your personal preference. It is a very sturdy filter.
