Answer:	Vegetable oil, or something like “goop be gone”. Whenever dealing with extremely sticky messes, if veg oil doesn’t work, try something like fine sawdust or clean cat litter to adhere to the glop and allow it to be scrapped up.

Answer:	We caught 424 mice and rats in 6 months - yes, I counted - mostly with these glue boards, on our ranch. Mice do not live long , they do not starve to death. They get their noses stuck and suffocate. If i catch one that has not suffocated i simply flip it over and stomp it with my boots. Not pleasant, but when you think about it most mice get eaten by a cat, snake, raptor, coyote, and so on which is not very pleasant either. Rats get stuck but last longer because they are bigger and do not get their noses stuck and suffocate like the mice. So the dogs finish rats. If you do not have dogs a shovel would probably be the quickest. These are the best of several bad options to control rodents, much better than poison that the other animals might get into, plus poison will give the rodent a long, agonizing death and then they die inside your walls and smell for weeks.

Answer:	I think with chem lights, you'd have to bend to break the inner glass tube and then shake up the content to mix the chemicals. It depends on what type of glow sticks you are using. Some outer tubes are made of thicker material.

One was at 9:20 PM and the other at 8:37 PM, both clean kills.

Slowly release your grip on the bow, the force of which should hold the locking bar inside that little box on the pedal. The trap is now set. 5. There is an "S" and an "F" imprinted on the pedal itself. If you wish the trap to be more sensitive, position the locking bar towards the "S" side of the little box by sliding it that direction. "F" stands for firm (less sensitive).

Answer:	That's probably accurate for the size of the package. The actual traps are closer to 3" or 3.5" x 7.5". I don't have one with me to measure exactly.

Did you load the peanut butter pushing into the trap so it's not a ball but ONE with the tray--I use Laura Scutters Nutty?4. I also sprinkle a tiny bit of birdseed over the peanut butter and leave bits across the wood to lure them in--all done before I load the spring.Good luck!

I just noticed you are dealing with Ratosauroses. In this case, the big traps will work, but you might need to fiddle a bit with the cross member/beam with which you arm the trap. You are trying to make it more sensitive. Also, be very careful. It can give you blue fingernails for months, if it catches you. Ask me how comes I know that. It mabbe a better idea to look for other sorts of traps. Poison always work if there is a way to keep your pets or kids out of the picture. I know. My ex-wife tried it on me.

Answer:	Bait the trap. I use ordinary peanut butter because it works fine and keeps a long time. Make sure the trip wire is out of the way. Open the snap to full and hold it with one hand. While holding the snap with one hand, place the trip wire over the snap and engage it with the yellow bait holder. You will need to raise the bait holder slightly correctly engage it with the trip wire. Once this is done carefully slowly release the snap until you feel the tension on the trip wire. Continue to hold the snap tension against the trip wire with one hand and remove the other hand that was used to engage the trip wire to hold the trap by the edge from the underside. Once this is done release your hold on the snap. Use care when handling and ALWAYS hold the armed trap by the bottom or sides! REMEMBER - the snap action is quite violent so use care and ALWAYS keep your hands away from the working parts and area of the trap.

Question:	What is the measurement of each victor power kill rat trap m
Answer:	In my case the rats were smart enough to pick open the bait door from the back. Don't know how they figured that out but scratch and bite marks tell the tale. My solution was to put a few raw peanuts in the back of the trap. A few (not all, so I did get a some) of the rats figured out that they could reach through the holes in the back and take out the peanuts. Actually got them on video doing this. They couldn't get them all and eventually they would get greedy and go into the trap. Put the back of the trap against a wall and had more success with the peanuts.
Question:	I have the plastic Power Kill rat trap and every morning the trap has been released and the peanut butter is gone. What can i do
Answer:	This happened with ours too. The problem was some dead crickets (?!?!?) in the trap. The trap looks for anything that conducts electricity between the metal parts on the floor of the trap. If something is connecting the metal plates it assumes that it is a dead rat. But you can get false “rodent caught” messages if *anything else* is in the trap. Dead crickets, dirt, who knows what. So, turn it off, remove batteries (just to be sure) and make sure the inside of the trap is clean and that should fix the problem!
