Pets toys are chewed on, though, which is I'm guessing the source of your question, and I can't comment on that. We don't have any pets due to allergies, but Tommy has some learning disabilities among other challenges and tends to chew on his t-shirt collars - no adverse reaction to Mrs. Meyers that we've noticed. I would still compare ingredients with those that are considered toxic for your pets before using it.

Question:	Are they spongy Nerf balls you can use indoors
Answer:	They are softer than regular tennis balls, but you can put any ball that's tennis ball sized into it. Plus, you can pull back the top prime lever a little bit instead of all the way and shoot it with less power. It has a big rubber band in it that stretches when you pull back the lever. So when using in the house we only pull it back a bit
