Answer:	The hose sprayer will mix the concentrate with water automatically. You would simply fill the hose sprayer with Mosquito Magician concentrate and spray your lawn, garden and trees. It can be difficult to know just how much is being applied with the hose sprayer since it will disperse very quickly. Many customers prefer the application of concentrate with a pump sprayer because you have more control over knowing exactly how much concentrate is being applied. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I would live on 5 acres and got 1 one acre trap and it does a good job in about 1.5 acres. If money is not an issue, 2. One acre traps would keep you from ever seeing a bug again (except when you are cleaning out the traps).

Answer:	The bulbs are key to the functionality of the trap. The titanium dioxide plate alone is not what attract the insects. It is the reaction caused by the UV Properties in the bulb mixing with the titanium dioxide and oxygen in the air that creates CO2. This is what mosquitoes and other insects are attracted to.

Answer:	No. It catches beetles, moths, and other bugs, but NOT mosquitoes. Perhaps mosquitoes in Texas are more discriminating than elsewhere, or smarter, or something. However, if you want to catch junebugs to feed to chickens, this thing works wonders. But don’t buy it for ridding mosquitoes from your yard.
Question:	What is the Replacement cartridge for this unit? I see replacement bulbs, but not for the Ti02 titanium dioxide-coated surfaces
Answer:	Good question. My understanding is that the unit (the machine) surface (not the UV light bulb) is permanently coated with the Ti02 titanium dioxide which produces CO2 (a mosquito attractant) when it reacts to the UV light from the bulb. The UV light is, itself, a mosquito attractant. I place a small octenol CO2 cartridge on the grate just under the light to enhance performance. The light lasts about 3000 hours or 4 months before it needs to be replaced. The machine needs to be run continuously in order to effectively disrupt the mosquito breeding cycle. Dynatrap has an easy "How to replace the bulb" video on their website. Other than the octenol cartridge that I purchase from the local home improvement store and place on the DT1775, there are no other cartridges involved. Height and location of the Dynatrap unit must be about 4 to 5 feet high from the ground (mosquito flying altitude) and near plants and bushes where mosquitos like to hide.

Answer:	I don't know about the DT200XL, but it should say something in the item description about the size of property it will protect. The DT1775 covers an acre. We live in the a city, so we don't have an acre, but our back yard is heavily shaded, and we don't mind protecting our neighbors yards too. We have noticed a significant drop in the number of mosquitos. The unit is in our backyard, but we've noticed a drop in mosquitos even on our front porch. Before getting this, we really could not sit outside even in the afternoon because of the shaded yard. At dusk, it was unbearable unless you didn't mind getting eaten alive. So glad we got this...can't recommend it highly enough!

Answer:	I catch lizards in them all the time here in Florida. I'm not sure they're attracted to the scent though. I only seem to catch them walking through high traffic areas. I also catch baby snakes constantly.

Answer:	The " is equal to an inch (imperial writing) check your U.S. Ruler length and yes that is a size, 6" inches by 8" inches is a good size for mice, I will staple or duct tape a few together for a RAT size all together and hope the sticky stuff is tough enough.

Answer:	We have ours plugged in to an extension cord. I’ll be honest though we haven’t noticed that it kills mosquitoes so if that is your main purpose I would look for another device. It does kill lots of their insects though, just not mosquitoes.

Answer:	In relation to the CO2 tank levels, the problem is that the CO2 in the cylinder is compressed into a liquid with only the vapour pressure being measured by a gas pressure gauge. The gas pressure in the cylinder remains pretty much the same even when there is only a small amount of liquid CO2 left in the cylinder. In other words, the gas pressure does not fall linearly with the liquid CO2 level. As the remaining vapor is fully consumed, the pressure shown on the gauge will drop off very rapidly. This means that the cylinder gauge may read 900 psi until almost all the liquid CO2 has gone. That confuses a lot of people who check the gauge one day only to find that the next day the cylinder is empty.This is why we tell customers not to bother buying a gas pressure gauge for their CO2 cylinders. Actually, the best way to monitor the contents of the cylinder is by weight. Weigh the cylinder full then subtract the cylinder's tare (empty) weight, which is usually shown on the outside of the cylinder. The difference between the two is the weight of liquid CO2 in the cylinder. Thus when this difference has reduced by 50% then 50% of the CO2 has been used.

Answer:	they are not for bed bugs .. they are for small rodents and insects and spiders. use bedlam plus for bedbugs . there are no glue boards for bedbugs except some thing called climb up that goes around your beds round legs . so its a circle sticky traps but they cost a lot and not worth it . especially if you already have bedbugs.
Question:	can you put bait on the trap
Answer:	We do not recommend the use of baits with our Glue Board products, as our Glue Tray is already scented and designed to attract pests without bait. Answer:	Terro says product is for "Attracting and killing all common household ants including Argentine ants, ghost ants, cornfield ants, pavement ants, acrobat ants, white footed ants, little black ants, odorous house ants and other sweet eating ants." Terro is a sweet bait; grease eating ants are attracted to protein. They might go for Terro; however if protein sources are still to be found in your house they will probably ignore the bait. I haven't had a problem with grease eating ants, but I understand that from folks who have that the Combat formula is better for attracting grease eating ants. You can also make your own baits for grease eaters by mixing boric acid (a white powder you can find in drugs stores or hardware stores) with peanut butter. Just make sure that the bait is out of reach of kids and animals (I have used boric acid/watermelon bait successfully with sweet-eating ants. However, it can only be used indoors, as sun dries it up and rain washes it away.) Good Luck!

Answer:	Yes absolutely I had the worst ant problem I have ever seen when I moved into my new home. They moved in because of a drought in Texas. The first two days I did not see much of a difference and was about to write a bad review, but I had to go out of town, I left and when I came back the next week there were no more ants, not a single one, in fact it has been almost a year and I still haven't seen one inside or outside since. Answer:	Carpenter ants infest every tree on my property and I found them foraging inside the garage (very bad news). Mostly for the garage, but also because I have one very nice pin oak, I placed 2 of these just inside the garage door and at the base of the tree and within 1 month no more ants. So, I guess it works on carpenter ants. However, if you use the trap per the package instructions the carpenter ants are too large to enter. What you do instead is push down and rotate as instructed to puncture the internal pouch then very carefully lift the cup back up to its original position and snap it into place. This opens the trap all the way around an the carpenter ants can enter. I intend to buy more as it works on almost every ant on my property. And that's a lot of different types of ants. You might also try Bayer Advance 375A. Its a protein based poison and if the ants don't have a sweet tooth that day they go for it. The terro traps make excellent bait stations for the 375A once the liquid is gone.
