Answer:	I’m not exactly sure my barn is 30ft by 40ft and I have 3 spaced out down the isle. It’s doing a good job!

Answer:	I don't remember seeing gnats in my bags. Might be because they're small & can escape through the opening. Works really well with flies, though. I use an electric fly swatter for the gnats.

Question:	How many comes in the order it says 12 traps for $11.97 is that right or is the price for one
Answer:	Yes I did place in the trash. I brought the reusable last year and after seeing the way things look in then after a while with maggots I decided on the disposable ones. I get it about the plastic but because they work so well I figured I was okay with it.
Question:	I don't mind buying a dozen, but wonder if the attractant will still be good next spring? I know it's dry until you fill the bag
Answer:	There is no way to tell because it would depend on your application. We have a small hobby farm, pigs and chickens so we use multiple bags in different locations to control the flies; also depends on the weather conditions. For us it's about 1-2 months again depends on your situation.

Answer:	The BIG BAG lasts 1 month. I had to add some water after 15 days because our temp was over 109 for several days, water can evaporate and won't attract flies without moisture. It is smelly but it does work, just put it about 14 ft away where people can't smell it and don't allow near dogs can reach it. I keep it in a tree where my dog does his business.

Until it is filled up solid with flies to the fill line, at that point there will not be much liquid left in the bag. Holds 15,000 to 20,000 flies. (Disposal - Some people might the leave the bag up until it completely dries out and then through it out. Otherwise, push top down, double bag it with plastic grocery bags, that works well, although it is best to wait and put it in the trash the night before the pickup.)

Answer:	I would not advise it. You have a bag full of dead stinky flies with the wretched dissolved packet that is not reusable.

Once activated, the trap does have a minimal odor that you would not want in your kitchen, but the smell is what makes this trap so effective. You will notice a slight odor when walking by the trap for the first few days but then as the trap fills with hundreds of dead flies, the odor from the decaying bodies will become more intense so that, if you have a sensitive nose, you may not be comfortable downwind from the trap. Farm folk, who live around animals, will not find this odor offensive but each to his nose.

I received the smaller bags, still good, but definitely not the Big Bags which are needed for the size of our property. A Rescue Disposable Big Bag measures 9.2 x 8.6 x 4.6. Big difference!

Question:	Does it matter if the place outside where it's hung gets a lot of sun? Should it be hung in the shade
Answer:	I put it next to the bunny cage where the flies were originating from. I believe it says to have it in a warm place to attract the flies but it does get stinky so the sun will only make that worse. So I guess it depends on the temperature out and proximity to your living space.
Question:	will this work with horse flies
Answer:	Not sure it's necessarily designed for flies of that size, but we've nabbed some pretty giant blowflies/carrion flies in ours...worth a shot to check it out. Do be aware that the "BIG" in "big bag" refers only to the size of the bag for this product.
Question:	How do you know when it is time to replace the bag with a new one
Answer:	I let it hang till it looks like it's going to explode at the seams it's so full. I do not however like the smell that comes with 40,000 dead, rotting flies so at that point it goes in the dumpster. There is a smell when you put a fresh one out but it smells 1,000 times worse when it's reaching max capacity with rotting dead ones in the mix. They'll even lay eggs on their dead buddies so you'll have maggots in there too. I toss around 30 days.

Question:	will it attract honey bees
Answer:	You can hang it anywhere. If you have flies in your basement, they will find this. (But why do you have flies in your basement?)
Question:	Can you use this inside? I dont care about the smell
Answer:	We've been using these on the fence around our chicken run for several years, and I don't recall seeing any maggots - that would be a dealbreaker for me as it was for the reviewer who had that experience! I will caution you, though, not to hang these near your own favorite hangouts, since the accumulating dead flies can get smelly. Plus, the trap draws the flies to where you're hanging out, rather than away from you.
Question:	How bad is the smell? How far away from the bag is it noticeable

Answer:	It does smell pretty bad. Guess flies are only attracted to stinky! It does work very well though but you can't put it near any outdoor entertainment or lounge areas due to the smell.

Question:	I don't want my trash can to smell horrible. How do you dispose of this trap so the odor doesn't permeate
Answer:	Honey bees will not respond to the odor emitted by the attractant in these fly traps. You could put it next to a hive if you wanted without harming any bees.
Question:	Does it work on fruit flies
Answer:	I don't see why you couldn't use it inside if you have a fly problem. Initially I don't notice a smell until the bag gets full of hundreds of flies. typically the mfgr. used some type of rotted meat for the attractant but I don't notice a smell there either.
Question:	Can this product get wet? I want to put it outside by my garbage cans
Answer:	When you first start to use them you will really be aware of the smell. But it dissipates over time. I wouldn’t put them near the open window of a home. But we have used several cycles of them and noticed a marked difference in our fly problem. It does take a couple rounds of the bags to really see a difference, but they truly work. Definitely worth putting up with the stink
Question:	Can this work indoors in apartment with a senior citizen living inside the apartment? Concerned about the odor of dead flies
Answer:	It has worked on all the flies I have some are large, but I don’t know if they qualify as horse flies.
