Design Variety: Ace offers a range of mouse traps with different designs, including snap traps, glue traps, electronic traps, and live-catch traps. This variety allows users to choose the most suitable option based on their preferences and the specific pest problem.
Snap Traps: Traditional snap traps consist of a wooden or plastic base with a spring-loaded mechanism. When a mouse triggers the trap by touching the bait, the spring snaps shut, quickly and humanely killing the rodent.
Glue Traps: Glue traps are adhesive sheets or boards that capture mice when they come into contact with the sticky surface. These traps are non-toxic and are designed for safe and easy disposal of trapped mice.
Electronic Traps: Electronic mouse traps are battery-operated devices that deliver an electric shock to quickly and humanely kill mice upon entry. These traps are reusable and can be emptied without direct contact with the mouse.
Live-Catch Traps: Live-catch traps are designed to capture mice without harming them. They allow for the release of the trapped mouse at a different location, providing a more humane option for those who wish to avoid killing pests.
Baiting: Effective baiting is essential for mouse traps. Ace mouse traps typically include guidelines for bait placement and recommend using attractants such as peanut butter, cheese, or specially formulated mouse bait.
Durability: Ace mouse traps are constructed from durable materials to ensure that they remain effective over time and resist wear and tear.
Ease of Use: These traps are designed to be user-friendly, with clear instructions on how to set and position them for maximum effectiveness.
Indoor and Outdoor Use: Ace mouse traps are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, depending on the location of the mouse infestation.
Pest Control: While primarily used for mice, some Ace mouse traps may also be effective in capturing other small rodents and pests.

User questions & answers
Question: | Does cheese work as bait? Everyone seems to be talking about peanut butter |
Answer: | Cheese does work (just as in the cartoons), however peanut butter is the more attractive bait. |
Question: | What's the difference between M310 and M310S |
Answer: | I don't know what the difference is, but I bought the M310S this past weekend, and I have caught between 4-5 mice every night (Plus some during the day. That is over 20 mice in the last 4-5 days.) All I used was a bit of peanut butter inside the trap. This thing works AWESOME |
Question: | What have you found to be the very best bait????? Thx |
Answer: | I found buttered popcorn to be the most effective bait. The butter smell travels and the mice just love the popcorn. It's clean and cheap (I just save a few of the more buttery kernels when I pop a bag), as well as being effective. I actually lay a path of smaller kernels from various areas to lead them to the trap. Even so, you do have to move the trap quite often as the nest learns what areas to avoid when their brethren don't return from gathering forays... |
Question: | They say mice can squeeze throuh the smallest crack or hole So wouldn't the peep holes on the side be big enough for them to get out |
Answer: | Mice can squeeze through holes about the size of a dime. The holes on the sides are 9/16" by about 3/16", much too small for them to fit through. |

Victor TIN CAT Mouse Trap with Window
Use this Victor TIN CAT mouse trap with window to eliminate the mice in your home. Designed for humane catch and release of mice, it holds up to 30 rodents at once. The convenient clear window allows for easy viewing of trapped mice, and the lid opens for simple, offsite release.
Placement of Traps
The durable metal construction is suitable for indoor or outdoor use, and since it contains no poisons. Feel free to use it around children, pets and food.
How to Use the TIN CAT
This Victor Mouse Trap is just so simple to set up! Start by adding a bit of peanut butter inside the trap and then fasten the lid. Then place the trap or traps near where you see mice and wait. This larger trap can hold up to 30 mice before it needs to be emptied, really making it ideal for larger infestations.
Tips for Trapping
A common mistake people make is to use too few traps. The most mice are captured in the first night after the trap is placed; afterward, those that remain are more cautious. Using plenty of traps means you can end the infestation even faster! When you begin to stop seeing fresh droppings, that means the mice have been eliminated. One the traps are full, simply follow your local regulations regarding animal release and let them go far away from your home.

User questions & answers
Question: | Does it have to be reset after each mouse is caught |
Answer: | This trap will automatically reset, but we do recommend checking the trap frequently for successful live releases! |
Question: | Does it come with instructions |
Answer: | Yes, instructions are included with this trap, but here is a condensed version: Slide open the lid. Place bait in the bait trough and replace the lid. Place trap with entrance holes closest to wall. Check trap often and release mice at least 2 miles from home. |
Question: | Just received. looking at it...can't figure out how a mouse is going to find a way in...? the little metal flap is covering the entrance. what am i no |
Answer: | do you have the top piece slid on properly? They enter the opening and it’s like a see-saw ramp. The flap closes behind them so it’s a one way in situation. Then when you have a mouse caught, just slide open the top and they can get out. So humane! I release the mouse a ways from my house so it doesn’t come back. Have not had a problem with these. You’ll want to wash them out once you release-lots of pee/droppings in there from the scared little guy. Peanut butter crackers worked best as bait! Just a little one in there did the trick. |
Question: | I have a pet mouse. (I know. odd pet choice) I wanna get this just in case they escape their cage. is this, for sure, no kill |
Answer: | This is a no kill trap but the metal door and platform do carry a slight risk of strangulation. I would use a 5 gallon bucket roller trap for your purpose, just keep the bucket dry. We had mice as pets when I was little. |

User questions & answers
Question: | can yout put the victor live catch mouse trap underground in a tunnle to catch a vole |
Answer: | This trap has not been tested to catch voles. We would not recommend using it underground. It is designed for use to catch mice. |
Question: | what would be some good sugestions for underground traps the size of voles, I do not want to kill them |
Answer: | You might TRy this "P3 International P7911 Sol Mate Solar Powered Mole & Gopher Chaser" But it doesn't catch them,it supposedly chases them away, and makes them find somewhere else to live. |
- △Easy to install: Mouse trap cage installation is very convenient, can be completed within 10 seconds.

User questions & answers
Question: | Where is this trap made |
Answer: | China, I think. Light duty, but reasonably well made trap for its purpose and cost. Wire cage not as substantial, or as well galvanized as Havaheart traps. |
Question: | Is this big enough for a chubby rat |
Answer: | Yes, the size of silver is: 10.8 x 5.7 x 4.4 inches, it's big enough for chubby rat. |
Question: | Would I be able to use this in a deep fryer after I caught myself a delicious critter |
Answer: | Why not just fashion a trap out of the pickup truck on cinderblocks that's in front of your trailer on your front yard? I'm sure you and your significant other (aka your cousin, sibling, parent, or family pet) can figure it out. |
Question: | Does this trap have a handle to carry it without getting bit |
Answer: | We just caught a small squirrel, and it was REALLY hard to get it out safely. I tried to use sticks to lift the spring door and locking latch at the same time, but that doesn't work. Our cage looks different than the picture. There is a latch that is spring loaded and it locks the door at the bottom edge when tripped. The spring on the door are appropriately strong, but since the cage is small, I couldn't hook anything to it and pull from a distance. When I tried, the cage lifted, too. (So to answer your exact question, you can just hook a bungee on the door handle and carry the cage, but the real problem is releasing the animal. I ended up having to use a long handled spatula to pry open the spring door while I unlatched the lock with my gloved hand. Thankfully, the squirrel was facing the other direction just long enough for me to do that, and once it escaped, it chose to run instead of bite. I would really like instructions for how to release an animal without putting my fingers at the opening of the cage. |

Victor Electronic Mouse Trap PRO
Make your mouse problem a thing of the past with help from the Victor Electronic Mouse Trap PRO. A economical alternative to traditional snap traps, the Victor Electronic Mouse Trap PRO kills mice within seconds using a high-voltage shock. The trap’s bait, located along the back wall in the trough lures a mouse inside and onto the metal plates. The advanced smart circuit technology senses the rodent and instantly delivers the high-voltage shock for a quick, effective, and humane kill. Beveled columns hold the mouse in place, preventing escapes, ensuring a 100-percent kill rate.
The Electronic Mouse Trap PRO kills 100 mice per set of four 'AA' batteries (not included), and it features a three-plate design that kills up to three mice before you have to empty—after the first and second mouse, the trap automatically resets itself.
With each kill, the indicator light on top of the trap blinks green for up to seven days, and when the batteries run low and need replacing, the light will blink red. In addition to at-a-glance monitoring, the electronic mouse trap offers a hygienic, no-touch, no-see disposal. Simply flip the lid open and dump the dead mouse directly into the trash.
Simple to Bait and Use
The Victor Electronic Mouse Trap PRO is easy-to-use. Start by inserting four 'AA' batteries into the battery compartment and replacing the cover. Then, using a Q-tip or toothpick (to avoid leaving your scent), add an enticing snack like peanut butter or chocolate in the bait trough located along the back wall of the trap. Place the mouse trap in areas of noticeable activity or lengthwise along the wall with the entrance closest to the wall, since rodents typically like to travel along the edge of a room. Flip the switch to 'on', and it’s good to go—a green light will blink once and a short buzzing sound will be heard to indicate it’s working.
Designed for indoor use only, the Victor Electronic Mouse Trap PRO provides years of effective rodent control—perfect for attics, garages, basements, and sheds. Safety features include a poison- and chemical-free trap, a built-in safety switch that automatically deactivates the trap whenever the lid is open, and a unique tunnel shape that prevents children and pets from reaching into the trap.

User questions & answers
Question: | How to remove the mouse from the mat |
Answer: | You throw the mat and mouse in the trash. |
Question: | Why do I need to close it and reopen it |
Answer: | I have not been closing and reopening and they still work just fine! I would imagine that closing and opening activates the sticky pad even more. I've been using these traps for about a year as I live in the country and they work better than any others I've tried. |
Question: | How many mouse glue boards are there in the package? How to use it |
Answer: | It has 6 mouse boards. I think it's very easy to use, just open it and put it in the corner. I recommend putting some bait so that it works better. |
Question: | Did the mouse die or get stuck |
Answer: | The mouse will only get stuck. Use vegetable oil and a butter knife to place the animal in a local park or away from home. Be careful when wearing gloves, but be quick and easy. There is no reason to murder a small animal that just wants to survive. Take them out of the house and close them. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Will these Chipmunk trap materials hurt your hand |
Answer: | It is a small mouse trap. now, you get it.hahh... |
Question: | are triggers sensitive to small mice |
Answer: | No, it don't large enough! Actually, it is super small. There are many rat in my garden. I buy the traps based on its positive review which say it is a rat traps. I have to say the reviews are fake. Don't buy it, if you need rat trap. I hope the people who have buy this wrong item like me, write down your honest review to warn others. |
Question: | Hello,Is the mouse easy to escape |
Answer: | Once you get over their cute little faces, you walk the trap out to a field (or neighbor's yard-perhaps one you are not very fond of) and you set the trap close to or on the ground and push the little door up with you finger, then watch as the little critter runs gleefully for his life! 😁 I caught 3 in my kitchen within a little over a weeks time. I filled the compartment with peanut butter, but I also put a few shelled peanuts down on the kitchen floor at the door opening and a few more inside of the trap on the part that causes the door to spring shut when it senses the little creeps weight. The "trap" door part of this is on a spring with a locking mechanism that keeps it open until the mouses weight causes it to spring shut. This is the door that you manipulate with your finger to both set it and tomser the little guy free. I won't use any other kind of trap based on my experience with this one. |
Question: | will this traps catch mice |
Answer: | Yes there are air holes. We live in the country and mice can be a problem. I can't kill them, so this trap is perfect. I use peanut butter to bait the trap and only set it when I will be available to check it every 5 o 6 hours. I have left it for 8 hours and the little critter was plenty frisky when I released him. If I leave it set overnight I put a tsp of water in a soda screw top so he doesn't get thirsty. I usually catch 2 or 3 mice in a 2 day period and then I have no evidence of them for a few months. I have several metal havahart traps, but they are hard to set and messey to clean. I have foun the answer to mouse control. I release them in a grassy area near a river. So, they have plenty of air to survive a night in a mouse diner and a short car ride to their new home. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this work to catch cottontail bunnies |
Answer: | I purchased this one to catch chipmunks; works perfect; for bunnies, it's probably too small; there is only 10 inches from the door to the trigger they have to step on; maybe real small rabbits, but overall, I would say don't trust it for rabbits; you need next size larger. |
Question: | Is this trap large enough for grey squirrels |
Answer: | I have caught 5 grey squirrels in less than 24 hrs with this trap, several of which were quite large. I used peanuts as bait. This, by far, has been the most effective trap to catch grey squirrels. |
Question: | size |
Answer: | It's about 16" X 6" X 6.5". Perfect size for one squirrel. |
Question: | I have a rat who is only attracted to Pepsi - can I put a bowl of this in the cage |
Answer: | A bowl would be to large and might block the trip mechanism. You could use a large cap off a bottle or one of those small plastic cups that fruit or pudding comes in filled with Pepsi. Balancing one of those on the trip plate so when the rat goes for a drink should work to catch your addict. |

Havahart Live Animal Cage Trap Model 0745
The Havahart 1-Door Live Animal Trap is Havahart’s extra-small trap and designed to capture a number of small-sized critters such as chipmunks, squirrels, flying squirrels, weasels, rats and voles. Designed and field-tested by trapping professionals, it uses an ultra-sensitive trip-plate to capture these tiny animals and a close-set wire mesh to contain them. With the right bait, you’ll draw your target animal into the trap. Once the animal trips the trigger, the gravity-action door drops behind them, safely holding the critter until you can humanely release it.
To protect the animal, the trap features smooth internal edges that keep the animal safe from harming itself. Each trap features a carrying handle so you won’t come in contact with the animal inside.

Step 1: Baiting
Often times, it’s easier to bait the trap before setting it and placing it. For most animals, you can apply peanut butter to the trigger plate and add some supplementary item to it as further incentive to the target animal.
Step 2: Placement
Your trap should be placed where there’s evidence of the pest animal’s activity. In particular, try to place it near its nest and in any areas where it might normally find food. Remove all other food sources, if possible.
Step 3: Release
After the capture, try to make the animal as comfortable as possible. Cover the trap with a towel, and release the animal at least 2 miles away. Be sure to check your local catch-and-release laws before trapping.
