The TV should have 3.5mm AUX output or RCA output to connect with speaker, if it doesn't have the AUX or RCA, it will unable to connect with the speaker.

Remote Control

1 -- Be sure to point the remote at the right side of the speaker, as that is where the IR sensor is located, particularly if you are very close to the speaker. after about 6 feet (2 meters) it seems to care much less. It does do well with “off-axis” almost to 180 degrees, which is quite good since the sensor is behind the fabric.

2 -- Using the Remote “Power off” doesn’t really power it down all the way, but leaves a red LED on. Granted, it’s not a lot of drain on the battery, but it’s not off until you rotate the volume/power knob fully counterclockwise to the click.

Answer:	No it doesn't but I didn't care cause its got a great sound all the way around. They have bass tubes and I think its great as is. The best one I've ever had.
