Answer:	I bought these fly ribbons to help get rid of moths that entered my home via bags of corn based cat litter. I let someone talk me into buying the much more expensive Dr. Killigan's moth traps that are permeated with pheromones to attract the males. They caught absolutely nothing! I found these ribbons at my local Walmart and tried them out. In just a few days they started filling up with moths. These do not have any type of attractant in the sticky substance but moths like to hang out on vertical surfaces like walls, etc... These are certainly ugly as sin but are working much better than the expensive moth traps that turned out to be useless. My ribbons are all hanging in my basement where the moths are most prevalent.

Make sure that it's "four stars plus". I purchased other types and they work fine! FYI: "RAID" has other items you needs for many insects types and they ALWAYS works! You will be pleased within 2-3 days especially close to near windows. TRUST ME!

Answer:	So glad you asked because this product solved a one-year fight I had with these very small indoor ants; but it takes time and patience (about 3 weeks). I did not rinse out the tray, but I did add additional drops of the liquid borax both are on and around the area that the ants make their path. Sometimes the ants did not want to climb on the tray so I put some drops around the tray and the ants seem to eat far more from these areas. It’s all about getting the ants to carry the largest amount of the Borax back to the ant nest so it will kill the Queen Ant and larva. After 5-10 Days you will think it is not working, but by 15 Days I noticed drastically less ants. It’s been 4 weeks now and NO ants at all. Of course very strict cleaning of all food surfaces must be maintained because the ants sense of smell is simply unbelievably good. I really hope it works for you. Tim.

The package says it's for: flies, gnats, moths and other flying insects which technically would include fruit flies, however, in my experience, these strips work by catching insects that fly all around the room like house flies, etc., but fruit flies seem to hover over whatever food it is that is available and not so much all over the room so it may not be AS effective on them but I'm sure it would help at least some! Is this actually baited or just sticky? I have ones that are just sticky and they do not attract the flies

Answer:

I have just sticky ones. After awhile you'll get the hang of it when hanging up. If you didn't catch many you just relocate it. I used to get it all over my hands, not now. I remove the thumb tack & sit aside. I grab red ribbon at base so I'm not pulling on it & break. I hang the ribbon around the knob that holds the glass shade to light from bottom. Importantly don't pull ribbon straight out of box because you're going to get real sticky straightening it out. Hold top at base of red string & hold ribbon container & start twisting the container holding the tape as you slowly pull out of container. I hang one over kitchen sink, laundry room & over side table next to couch where I sit with drinks & food. Be patient! If my kids sit a bowl etc in sink or after I cook & am eating before clean up the flies swarm over & get stuck in tape. I get massive amounts of flies because I have 4 windows surrounding my kitchen sink. I also get a lot over night. It took a couple of tries moving them around until I found best spots. They also attack moths which last year I had a problem with. They may not look the best in your kitchen, but they work GREAT if you're patient & find that spot! I change once a week & they are loaded with dead flys!

Answer:	So far I agree with John Ditmars: none! I hung one trap about 2’ from my hummingbird feeder that was being attacked by yellow jackets. The feeder is still crawling with yellow jackets, but don’t think a single one was interested in the trap. I might try adding a little sugar water to the trap and see what happens. I’ll return and let you know if adding sugar water helps.

Answer:	Yes you can use it near food items. However, if your cabinets were infested with moths, you must first clean out the shelves and throw out any food containers that show any sign of moth infestation (on the inside or the outside of the containers).
Question:	Diff brand says traps have a lure range of about 10 feet. Suggest multiple traps in a small area. Raid says 1 trap for a large house. Marketing
Answer:	I placed trap in my pantry where the moths were present and the trap worked great and haven’t seen any moths in months so technically it worked for entire house but the meal moths go where there is food so put it near where you keep your flour, rice, etc.

Answer:	It comes with a bait-you just need to ‘assemble’ it

Answer:	it says you can but I've only had these a few weeks and im still a skeptic..they are inexpensive so worth a try

Answer:	The bait is inside you don’t have to activate them. I use all 8 in the back and it’s been working for me.

Answer:	So I’m actually not sure, which could be why they didn’t work for me; but the terro liquid ant baits worked GREAT for me, so if those are sweet or grease, these are probably the opposite. I’d like a riddle for an answer. Sorry!
